That's what I thought he might have a concussion. We had a great game with no major injurious.

If he had a concussion, then he should not have been let back on the field. It did not look like he had a concussion, but rather got mangled and twisted up. Edleman had a lot of hits like that but popped back up. Amendola, however, is not in good shape like Edleman; I don't know where he spent the offseason but it was not in the weight room like Edleman.

not to defend Danny Amanda but answer your question he reportedly spent part of his off-season in the surgery room instead of the weight room. Not really his fault there.

He still could have worked out before and in a limited fashion afterwards. And it is not just this season that he looks soft and puffy.

I thought he may have been concussed as well. When he got up he definitely looked dazed and looked like he couldn't even walk straight coming off the field. Was very surprised to see him return.

I agree. I figured he was done for the day. I'm sure he just 'got his bell rung' though since they have all these concussion rules in place.

Amendola didn't do much besides that 1st down completion, but he took some shots for the team. At least he didn't just vanish. I'll give Amendola an E for effort this week.
