It's not the drugs or booze themselves, it's the disease of addiction. Coupled with clinical depression, it's potentially deadly as we've seen.

so many tremendous parts and roles he flitted in and out of...my favorite was the role as Matt Damon's psychologist in Good Will Hunting....I believe he won an Oscar for that role too.
