Re: Never been a better time to be a Jets Fan!

What exactly is that stain on the paper bag you have over your head? Is that like a stain from Rex Ryan's afternoon snack, or what?

That is where he wipes his tears of anguish. The tears of despair are on the other side.

"Rex the Wonder Slug...this guy nails it. Rex is a classless Slug. :rocker:

Rex the Wonder Slug. “Come on, dance for us, Rexie! Whattya got for us this week?” Yet, after every Jets loss the same media were ready to throw it in his face.

As for the team and the owner:

Class isn’t tidal. It doesn’t run both ways. Either you have it or you don’t, and Woody Johnson’s Jets, top to bottom and left to right, have become distinguishable for classlessness.

LOL @ Jets fans

We have overreacted, we went 8-8 and choked away a bunch of games.

Ill tell you one thing, as bad as 8-8 was, I would not trade up the position the Falcons and Steelers fans are going through right now. Id rather go 8-8 then being EMBARASSED like that in the playoffs. If I was a Steelers of Falcons fan I wouldnt show my face all offseason.

This is from the same moron

I hope he ***** their offense up for the playoffs. How do they expect 2 OC to co-exist. This will be funny.

I love how they choked away games this year, but there's a failure to weave in the truth of how other teams choked away games to the Jets in each of the past two seasons, which was the only reason the Jets got to the playoffs in those years.

:yeahthat:

Seriously, has any other team ever had TWO teams intentionally roll over and play dead for them?

It's tremendously refreshing these days not having to hear those obnoxious Green Beans and their equally obnoxious fans exhale their nonsense. Even better is seeing them implode and called to task for past transgressions. A dead and buried testament to mediocrity in 2011 as they enter a 44th consecutive year of futility, on the downslide.

The New York Jets will be even worse next year. The Rex Ryan era will quickly come to an end since the inmates are running the asylum.

Our ace in the hole down there in the swamp is Woody Johnson. As long as he owns that team the Green Beans will perpetually be circling the drain. That's why Wrecks' eventual ouster and replacement by a "real" head coach doesn't worry me.

I'm taking great delight in the wonder that has been the 2011 New York Jets campaign fallout.

I think I figured out why Rex has such a big ego...

I think what a lot of people fail to take into consideration it the fact that if you look at the Jets season, they very easily could have been WORSE than 8-8. While you can be fairly said that the Jets gave the Denver game to the Broncos; it can be just as easily be said the Jets were gifted the Dallas and Broncos game as well.

Without too much effort from other teams, the jesters could very well be looking at 3 consecutive 10-loss seasons today.

Edit: I ass-ume you meant the SD game.

Green Beans lose their best coach! More rats leave the sinking ship!

:singing::singing:

From Pro Football Talk today:

Henry Ellard isn’t the only coach leaving the Jets.

Bill Callahan, who has been the assistant head coach and offensive line coach of the Jets for the last four years, is leaving to coach the Cowboys’ offensive line, ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reports.

Callahan replaces Hudson Houck, who is retiring after 29 years in the NFL. Houck has coached with the Rams, Cowboys, Seahawks, Chargers and Dolphins and says he’s ready to call it quits.

“I’ve had a great time, been part of a lot of winning teams and I’ve enjoyed a lot of wonderful relationships,” Houck said.

Now the Cowboys add Callahan, a well respected line coach who has previously been head coach of the Raiders and at Nebraska. He should be a good addition to Jason Garrett’s staff, and his departure coming on the same day that Ellard is departing as the Jets’ receivers’ coach shows that there’s not as much stability on Rex Ryan’s staff as the Jets’ have been suggesting publicly. The Jets had had offered Callahan a contract extension on multiple occasions, and Callahn declined. :singing::singing:

It's 10:54 EST here in Little Rhody...time to remind everyone...yes, the Jets do suck, indeed, with as much or more suckage than has EVER been witnessed in the history of mankind...an awesome accomplishment for all Jet fans to be proud of...here Jet fans...this Bud's...errr...butt's for you......
