Re: Marshall Faulk tonite on NFLN

What is worse, is that his network does not even hold him accountable..

This is a disturbing trend....

Why is that?

Because it portends a period of time where the Commissioner, ESPN, and the powers that be pretty much conspire to plot against us, spread unspeakable, contemptible, filthy, disgusting lies about us, and screw us at every turn??

I've got some bad news for you....

Re: Marshall Faulk tonite on NFLN

I don't get it... what part of it is illegal if it was within 5 yards? Besides, wasn't our game plan to play the pass, ALLOW them to run the ball and Martz just didn't have the patience to run. Meaning Faulk actually should have been the beneficiary of that game, not the focal point of our gameplan as he insists.

I think he's referring to spygate. He has ALWAYS had a huge hair across his ***** and to this day believes the Boston Herald article that the Pats taped the walk-through, even though the paper "appologized" for running the story. Marshall believes the walk-through was taped.

Marshall Faulk tonite on NFLN

Ive never seen a player get more
physically beat up in a game then Faulk in that super bowl. He was
Litterally bullied. Especially the play where he was just standing there and Vrabel just goesnnext to him and pushes him to the ground.

Re: Marshall Faulk tonite on NFLN

When he's old and on his last legs he'll be locked away in a bedroom watching the 2001 Super Bowl over, and over, and over again shaking his head and drooling on a bib.

The man has the IQ of a potted plant.

Is there anyone that doesn't enjoy Faulk going off like that? Not sure what you mean by hold him accountable. If anything it increases ratings.

I can't stand to watch the NFL network highlight show. Snortman Irvin,Promoman Sanders, Mushmouth Faulk and joke of the year Eisen, bring literally nothing to the show.

Except for a few guys like Sterling Sharpe, Charles Davis and Mike Myok, the network is devoid of anything resembling professionalism.

Re: Marshall Faulk tonite on NFLN

Deion Sanders was funny. "THEY TOOK MARSHALL FAULK OUT OF THE GAME!!!"

HAHAha Deion keeps rubbing it in. Sanders should be marshall's shrink, he'd tear him apart.

Re: Marshall Faulk tonite on NFLN

Yes! Yes! Oh let me taste your tears, Marshall! Oh, the tears of unfathomable sadness! Mmm-yummy! Mmm-yummy

Re: Marshall Faulk tonite on NFLN

NFLN

It's true, for a network that evolved out of the the league's desire to tap hardcore football fans thirst 24/7, that show in particular has become more of an entertainment vehicle for showcasing the comedic timing and egomania/paranoia of it's self promoting cast of characters... That they replay it incessantly once it's wrapped doesn't help any...

Contrast the unwatchable NFLN with SIRIUS Radio's excellent football coverage, Moving The Chains, etc. for casual and hardcore. I get NFLN included at home in NH and don't watch it (excepting thurs nite FB) but I pay for SIRIUS mostly just for the football stuff.

Re: Marshall Faulk tonite on NFLN

a former football player whining about the ref's ? what a joke. i thought that was the homer fans job.

Re: Marshall Faulk tonite on NFLN

Marshall Faulk has the potential to be a good analyst but he acts too unprofessional. He needs to be less biased and arrogant.

Re: Marshall Faulk tonite on NFLN

Marshall has to admit that his anger is then misplaced. He should be angry at the Refs for not flagging all those "illegal" plays. Marshall makes me laugh, but if I was him, I'd be friggin pissed too...lol!

They did flag it, negating that 98 yard TD recovery by Wilson(?) that would have made it 24-3......
He and the Ram receivers had been getting free releases all season long which was essential for their routes. Once they got jammed in the Super Bowl, it messed up their timing and those finesse receivers couldn't handle it..
Warner never won another game in St Louis and his next year his QB rating was 67 and his splits were 3 TD/11 int...Seems like BB found a blueprint for stopping the "Greatest Show on Turf"

Re: Marshall Faulk tonite on NFLN

I remember when Jaworski did his follow-up show -- this was when he was pretty good -- analyzing the film. He raved about the Pats' game plan and execution. The "chipping" (edit: not the pretty blatant holding that was called on McGinest) of Faulk was specifically praised. Not a word about anything being illegal.
