It’s official Rogers traded to the Jets !

Here's our girl, talking about how we have another thread that's gone down the rabbit hole.

Getting back to Rodgers…

Wait until if and when he plays like crap and the NY media rips him a new one and he gets all pissy.

Everyone is always happy the first day at a new school. It isn't until you start to see how tough the course load and the school bully gets around to picking on you that you realize it is a crappy school.

there's being critical than there's being a whiny twit who offers only negativity. That's what's come out of the mouths of you, Patsfan2, 203Pats and a host of others. You're only half a step above the troll, all3phases.
Lol I have been in here saying that I think Rodgers in NY will be a disaster.

Oh look, the same joke poster derrailing yet another thread with his gimmick. Have no clue why that continues to be allowed to happen here.

What I am waiting for is early November if Rodgers is like he was last year and the Jets are looking to be fighting for a Wild Card at best. Will the Jets bench Rodgers to avoid giving up a first round pick? Will they be stupid like the Colts were with Wentz and keep playing him out of stubbornness even though it costs them a first round pick to maybe get into the playoffs and not do much when they get in?

It really is every thread he posts in.

In honor of Aaron let's manifest this scenario to the universe by taking ayahuasca

If Rodgers shows up to the voluntary workouts early this offseason, then its promising for the Jets

I think a lot of jobs will be on the line in that scenario, so yes, I think they would have to.

we know...you haven't shut up about it since the season ended. The fact you lay no blame at the feet of the ridiculous offensive play calling of Fat Matt underscores your utter lack of NFL football savvy.
Sure. Patricia is a POS and I said he was going to **** up the offense the day he was given the offensive reigns. I told you so! He was a total disaster. The blame however falls squarely on Belichick as he put his second year supposed franchise quarterback in a horrible situation and then got pissed at him when he sought guidance from outside the organization. BB also drafted a skinny twig for Jones when he had half a dozen NFL caliber receivers otherwise available. Now he's let his favorite receiver walk and given him his third OC in three seasons. Nice job.

You see, it's not all Mac's fault that he's mediocre, but when I point out anyone else who's to blame (specifically Belichick), I get push back on that too from the IBWTers.

Your nutso Lamar campaign is duly noted, Mr 10,000 posts on it.
Get back to me when the Ravens are in the playoffs and Lamar's an MVP candidate.

Your idiotic claim that Rodgers "makes sense" when ZERO teams broached any interest in him except for the Jets shows you are one of these closet Jet-o-philes that infest this board from season to season.
LOL!! I hate the Jets! And Rodgers too! But get back to me when Rodgers leads the Jets to a better record than the Patriots.

I can't imagine how loathsome you would have been during the Rex Ryan years.
Rex has had more success without Brady than Belichick.

You are one of these shiny bauble "I wanna a real fast wide receiver at 14!!"fans, when QB protection is THE most important part of any offense. Please, stop pimping yourself like you're Mel Kiper's dumber brother's kid.
Look around the league bro. Here are your playoff teams...

Bills (Diggs, Davis)
Dolphins (Hill, Waddle)
Bengals (Chase, Higgins)
Chargers (Allen, Williams)
Eagles (Brown, Smith)
Vikings (Jefferson, Thielen)
49ers (Samuel, Aiyuk)
Seahawks (Metcalf, Lockett)
Bucs (Evans, Godwin)

Noticing a trend there?

The other teams: Chiefs (best QB & HC in the NFL), Ravens (LJ), Jaguars (won an exceptionally weak division), Cowboys (Lamb & a lethal run game), Giants (product of too many playoff teams).

Put the '93 Cowboys OL in front of Mac Jones. If he's still only throwing to JuJu, Parker, Bourne, and Thornton then I can say right now they are not winning more than 8 or 9 games.

Carr is a lesser Drew Bledsoe.
Carr numbers are significantly better than Bledsoe's. You realize Bledsoe was the #1 overall pick in the draft? Carr was a 2nd rounder. Bledsoe should have been better. He wasn't.

Rodgers is a POS DIVA who doesn't care about anyone but himself.
I've called Rodgers a douchebag a 1000 times on this MB. But get back to me when he leads the Jets to a better record than the Patriots.

Of course you see signing Juju as a "lateral move" because you don't understand that he's actually BETTER than Meyers,
Gesicki is an upgrade over Washington and Sokol. It remains to be seen whether he's an upgrade over Smith,
Seriously? Jonnu? If Gesicki isn't much better than that complete waste of time and money then consider me shocked.

We'll see on JuJu. I don't dislike the signing but his production won't be any better than what you would have gotten from Meyers.

All you're doing now is beating your chest and pretending like you have a clue. You don't. You're one of the most uninformed posters on here. Wikipedia's opinions have more basis in reality than you do.
LOL!! I completely nailed the 2022 Patriots season, almost game by game.

My strongest opinion is the Patriots never would have won a single Super Bowl had it not been for the extremely fortunate emergence of Tom Brady. With Bledsoe as his quarterback, Belichick would have been fired after the 2002 season, and he most certainly would not be in the HC GOAT discussion. Brady was the key to the entire Patriots dynasty and if you honestly reflect back on the last 30+ years of Belichick's head coaching career then you'll see it's plainly obvious he's not the same HC without Brady. Meanwhile Brady didn't miss a beat moving onto to another team at ages 43-45. Still prolific, still clutch, still winning.

Ian moved the Brady discussion to the other forum. Stop trying to derail the thread again.

@1960Pats the only reason you want Bill out right now is because he didn't hold onto your precious Tommy. If Brady stayed and the Pats were equally as bad from 2020-2022 as they were in real life, you would have no problem keeping Bill.
Had Brady been kept as the Patriots quarterback then they would have won the division three more times. 16 consecutive division titles in a row with Brady isn't proof enough? He also won two more divisions in Tampa Bay, and the one season he didn't, he merely won the SUPER BOWL!

Are YOU ****ing kidding me!?! You HATE Brady, Belichick, and the Patriots. Isn't there a Chiefs forum somewhere on the Internet?

When Brady was in his prime. As 2019 and 2022 showed you, he's just not effective past age 40 without those weapons I mentioned. There's a reason he went to Tampa and recruited AB, Gronk, and Fournette....
Look at you, hypocrite!

The reason is Brady wanted them on his team. Because he likes winning. And he can subjugate his ego unlike BB.

With very good players to help him out in a major way.
Did Tyreek help Mahomes? How about Kelce? Oh look, Mahomes has the best HC in the NFL too. Get a grip.

Little of this is being a fan of the New England Patriots. You are myopically focused on what you perceive as shortcomings to predict failure. A fan looks at what they DO have and entertains notions of how it might work to their advantage. That is what makes it fun. The game's great saving grace is its unpredictability. The best teams on paper don't always win and the best players don't always come through -- for any number of variable reasons. Imagine if the 2023 Patriots somehow cobble together a season like the 2001 Patriots. All your pessimism and "can't do" negative energy will prove a sad waste of time -- yours and everyone else's. The irony is if they go 7-10, you'd be in the exact same boat.
Since when do YOU define what makes a fan? Approach it however you want and I'll do it my way. You seem to believe diluting your outlook and imagining fanciful endings is "fun." Maybe the Panthers or Commanders will somehow cobble together a season like the 2001 Patriots too. But practically speaking, it's extremely doubtful.

You don't speak for the collective forum either. You think I'm a "sad waste of time" then put me on ignore and save yourself the trouble. Everyone else can make their own decisions.
