There was a really clear shot of the dark shirted / shorts wearing suspected Jets VIDEO guy on the Channel Seven "On the Sideline show" which was on at 7:00 PM in the Boston area..

If anyone has it recorded go to about minute 6 and he can be seen as clear as day. His credential was smaller than the one the NFL Films guy was wearing. THere was about a 3 second look at him.

I have it on my DIRECTTV DVR....if there are any questions.

could you be a little more specific about the time. 6 min into the game or 6 left? what quarter etc. I also have it tivo'd in hd. I wanna see it

Nice pics there. I hope someone is digging into this. It shouldn't be THAT hard to find out who works for the Jets and who this guy is when you can see his face in the pics.

Reread my post....I was talking about the new highlight show which aired tonight on Ch 7 in Boston. During the 6th minute of the program, as they were showing highlights of the game, the showed a sideline view of Ratgina and next to him was a very clear view of the guy everyone has been talking about.

No no......just was their regular highlight show and thanks to this site - I easily picked him out as it is really a clear shot that lasted about 3 seconds. You can plainly see his camera and his credential badge - I an trying to find a Jet badge to see if it is the same.

Don't expect Reiss to put his reputation on the line chasing what is probably just wishful thinking on our part.
Let's get the answer as to if that was a team employee or not and either let it go or push it forward.
Only a fringe reporter can afford to pursue the answer.
Look for these type of guys.

The reason Reiss is unwilling to pursue this issue is simple: The judge, jury and executioners in the media have already given their sentence, and it was unanimous against the Krafts. For Mike to give the impression that he is carrying BB's water with unsubstantiated zapruder films would make him a laughingstock in the industry. He has already been mocked for being a Patriot flunkie by luminaries like Borges, and I'm sure the venom Borges has spewed against him in public pales compared to what he has said in private. It's unfortunate, but it seems like bloggers are going to have to do this job. It was already reported that this Jet employee had to go into hiding because he was mistaken for Matt Estrella by Jet fans. If he had to go into hiding, then people must know who he is, and it follows that he works for the Jets. The Jet media guide should include him.

Perhaps this thread needs a sticky until it gets resolved? It also seems to have attracted a lot of interest here. Come on aren't there any Pats fans living in NY or who have relatives/connections in NY that can find something about this guy?

Mike Reiss deals with fact and has the utmost respect as a result. He stays away from rumor, innuendo and speculation. As soon as this is confirmed, he will be right on it.

Notice I wrote as soon as confirmed - why is it with all of this mounting evidence, no one has dispelled the notion that there are Jets employee's, with video cameras on the field taping....they really are quite noticeable when opposing defenses are on the field.

A guy on KFFL who used to film for a local TV station says the guy, based on being at both home and away games, is likely a Jets employee. He is most certainly not an NFL employee and local tv stations would hire a local cameraman at away games.

Get real. There won't be any employees filming anymore for any team.
All we have is the question of last week's games and if there any such employees filming beside Estrella with the Pats.

If he's on the JET sideline without a videotape would be interesting........ If anyone from the JETS staff reads patsfans, my guess is that guy was given a few weeks paid vacation.
