Wouldn't it suck to be a jets fan, or an Oakland fan or a Kansas City fan, or a Cleveland fan, or a Miami fan?

So we lost a draft choice! We still have more than is the norm in 2008. We have fewer rookies than any team in the NFl. Will we have more spots open next year? Almost all agree that we have one of the top three teams in football, and are an unbelievable 1-6 (before last week, must be better now) favorites to win our division. We have at least three years of greatness left, with no major personnel or cap constraints. We have one of the top organizations in sports (coach, front office and owners). And we have the best group of players one could imagine. We have no significant weaknesses as a team. And we even have a stadium that is the envy of the league.

We have few Boston media types that are worth squat. Boston is a baseball town. Providence on the other hand is a football town with fine media.

It is Saturday. Let this day be a day to count our blessings as patriot fans.

Boston is a sports town. I am sure that most people in Providence loathe the Red Sox.

Mgteich - Are you like Jeckyll and Hyde? - One minute you right a negative post saying maybe the Patriots should change thier colors since they are like the Raiders and winning is the only thing that matters screw everything else and it is embarrassing to you and the next minute you make a positive post.

May the REAL Mgteich please stand up :bricks:

The raiders thread was posted a long time ago. Most of us have been posting and discussing and venting for a week. You can view the last few exchanges on the other thread. You will see that we have all calmed down, especially me.

I am embarrassed by Belichick's actions. He has been punished. It is time to move on and be glad we are who we are.

Besides, the sarcastic thread was in response to many who realy like it to be us against the world, and all that matters is winning. And I never meant to imply that the TEAM is like the raiders. Nothing could be further from reality. My comments on that thread were addressed to fan attitudes.
