I just think it is hugely overblown, true or not.
And no moreso than by this teams own judgemental fanbase. That's the sad thing. This is done by other teams to blunt what we do. Notice we aren't talking about what this team did to the JETS yesterday but what some JETS official has accused our FO of doing. To keep their fans from calling them out demanding to know why do you let them make us look like dunderheads after we chest thumped on message boards all week, and while we're at it why can't you make our franchise as successful as their's is. Throwing out the "cheating" card just makes them all feel better about each other. Not sure what the fascination is with this fan base, but then again they are critical to extreme like spoiled children who can no longer be satisfied.
If they had a brain cell left between them in Buffalo, they'd be watching game tape from yesterday looking for things they might fix on their team and not wasting time looking at film of a year old game when we dominated them because they always figured we might have been cheating to accomplish that...
At times like this this fan base is often it's own worst enemy. It's a mentality the Boston media long ago created covering another team. It was somewhat understandable since they hadn't won in 86 years. It is less defensible when it persists for a franchise that has won half of it's league's championships contested in the last 6 years.
