Oak is 6-1 in conference, 3-1 out of conf (all out of conf games done)
Pats are 7-1 in conference and 2-1 out of conf ( Rams game is lone remaining NFC game).
Now PAts are 7-1 in AFC vs Oak 6-1 which is the tie breaker.
If they both win this week, they will both be 7-1 in conference and the tie breaker after that is SOV( strength of victory) where Oak has a better SOV now.....
yep

It will be a crazy finish to the season,no doubt.

Ravens are always very tough for us.

Broncos in Denver. That will be brutal they will play tough.

My worry is we coast into the postseason again like last year.

Define "coast into the postseason".

Last year the Pats lost the 1st seed because they were so beaten up they couldn't put a healthy team on the field against mediocre competition.

if Dolphins lose next 2 and Pats win next 2.. we clinch AFC East and first round bye at 11-2 going into the Denver game. Then the 1 seed will be clinched by attrition soon after.

They'll beat the bills, colts and chargers - that won't be a problem for oakland I think they'll also beat the chiefs since the chiefs already beat them once this year. at worst they go 4-1 the rest of the way. On the other hand, the pats have baltimore, denver and miami (on the road). We too will likely go 4-1 the rest of the way.

I dunno. The Raiders have to travel to KC for a Thur night game. Arrowhead is tough on the visiting offense. I'd say that's an almost definite loss for Oakland. Not sure how losing to KC at home by over two TDs helps their odds to beat them on the road on a short week. So assuming that your one assumed loss was @Denver, I'd say that 3-2 is more likely.

People here in the bay area on talk radio and all want a raider @ ne battle in the snow for revenge of tuck rule game. They are calling it possibly changing of the guard in reverse like in 2001 when a young upstart QB beat an experience QB and team which was favored.

Careful what you wish for. ;)

Chiefs are not far behind. If we fall behind to Raiders/Chiefs, I wouldn't want to play either of those teams on the road in playoffs. We have chance to beat both those teams at home.

Also, Chiefs are playing better all around football than Raiders (relying on offense for most part).

Ravens are sneaking up in AFC South. They may not be good enough to win superbowl but will definitely create problems if we play them in playoffs.

I think you meant the Ravens are sneaking up in the AFC North. Hopefully if we beat them on MNF in 2 weeks it knocks them further back out of playoff contention! When it's all said and done Pittsburgh or Baltimore will win the NFC North. I don't see a wild card coming out of that division. Next week's Dolphins vs Ravens game will be yuge

I don't think they necessarily lose either, but odds are they lose at least one more game. The loss could come at miami in week 17 - who knows.

I see it the other way. The Pats win when a Carr fumble is called a fumble because the rule was changed. That would be a discount double tuck.

Yes. thanks for the correction.

I hope Dolphins win. I like our chances of beating dolphins in playoffs than Ravens :D

The Ravens are going to go 2-3 over the last 5 weeks and the Steelers are going to go 3-2 and take the AFCN.

The Dolphins are going to come to the last game of the year against the Pats and a Pats loss will knock out the Denver Broncos. The Pats will have the top pick clinched and will roll over and play dead.

Indy, Baltimore and Denver will all be watching the playoffs on the boob tube.

Prognosticator over here, love the conviction in your statements :)

The Baltimore game is at Gillette.

Honestly are Schedule is actually bad for us. We get the Ravens, @Miami, and @ Denver I mean you couldn't really have a tougher schedule than that based on the Brady Belichick era.

Hopefully the Pats pick it back up on offense. I would like them to score in the mid 30's every game.. Yesterdays game was brutal Fitz wouldn't snap the ball until there was less than 2 seconds on the play clock every play and because our defense tends to give up a lot of yards, our offense has had less possessions. I didn't look up the actual stats but it just seems like common sense.

Yup, that is the one game I am attending this year. Can't wait (although it will mean getting home at about 3 AM).

I really feel miami's not making the playoffs. Their upcoming schedule's brutal.

The Fins have @Balt, Ariz, @Jets, @Buffalo and NE left. With a little help from us at the end they'll go 3-2, finish at 10-6 and win the tie-breaker against the Broncos.
