It's easy, and only takes a few moments. As I said in the Cooper-cut thread, this has less to do with the DEs but more to do with the LBs and DTs. So far the team hasn't been able to replicate Easley and Hicks' pressure up the middle while the LB corps has suffered from Hightower's injury. Hightower is a very good pass rusher and I also have the impression that his absence/limitations forces the coaching staff to dial back on Collins' blitzes. Our pass rush has been somewhat dissapointing thus far. We will see if they
can pick that up.
I'll accept your apology, or at least acknowledgment, now that Cooper Has been released, that this was a terrible trade.
Thanks for checking in Felger.Yeah it is sort of aggravating that BB gets rid of anyone who is not a super boy scout, tight-lipped worker bee. In this case it seems like he screwed up. Reminds me of the dump of Michael Vrabel.

Exactly. He was always great the first month or two and tailed off towards winter and the playoffsmeh, it is September. Tell me if he is still good in December.
Yeah, you're right. Only Boy Scouts here. He dumped Aaron Hernandez before he could take a snap. He didn't mess around with Brandon Spikes, either. And Alfonso Dennard? Never played a snap.I totally agree. It's a big pet peeve of mine. BB no doubt is the best coach of all time and a good NFL GM. But I do think he has certain flaws as a GM and this is one of them. Just my opinion.
Some of the best playmakers in the NFL these days are loud outspoken players full of swag and ****iness. If BB is looking for a Boy Scout version of Lawrence Taylor, he ain't gonna find it
Getting high on synthetic pot sealed the deal for him in NE.
Vrabel was 34 and just about done.Reminds me of the dump of Michael Vrabel.
That's pure hindsight. What we knew in the 2014 offseason was that Talib was a guy who frequently deals with nagging injuries and has gone out early in two consecutive AFCCGs which turned out to be a back-breaker both times. The Patriots won SB XLIX with Revis so I have no idea why there are people now who second-guess the decision to let Talib go and sign Revis. The team winning a Super Bowl in 2014 is fact. Talib staying healthy, or the Patriots winning a Super Bowl with Talib is pure conjecture.People said the same thing about Talib and he's been nothing but an ironman in Denver, finishing the season strong, never getting hurt.
Last year, the Patriots were one of the best pass rushing teams. It hid the problems in the secondary that are showing up this year. Keeping Chanler Jones for another year probably would have been a good idea.
Not too sure about this. Even if Jones' was founder of 3 Boston charities for terminally ill children, spokesperson for MADD, and recruited people to volunteer for his call center on weekends to recruit even more people to help others by doing community service in their spare time -- given his well publicized financial and contractual circumstances -- he was a goner, no matter what he was smokin' or not smokin.
