I just caught the beginning of NFL Live and and Tom Jackson was on the set today. Apparently, they don't want to talk about Samuel anymore, so they had to manufacture new garbage material.

Today it was a discussion of the likelihood the Randy Moss "experiment" will work out. Of course he and "Stink" said they can't imagine how Moss will gel with/for the Patriots. That's their opinion, fine. I disagree, but we will have to wait and see what happens this season.

The garbage came when they tried to manufacture a problem existing between Moss and Brady already. After showing a clip from Moss on the Raiders where he looked frustrated and apathetic, they showed a picture from mini camp with the Patriots. Just a picture of Moss next to Brady, obviously in mid conversation. Jackson starts in with, "look at this face of disdain as he's looking at Brady. I've seen this look before, and it's never associated with anything good."

Talk about manufacturing problems and issues through the media. And I know we all haven't forgotten his famous words, "They hate their coach."

...Anyway, not a huge deal, but typical fabricated garbage that ESPN clings to in order to sustain their programs.

Well the last time Jackson began a season talking smack about the Patriots, we all know how that season ended. Keep it up TJ.

that picture they showed was ridiculous. They take one snapshot and conclude moss detests brady

And I thought we were all bored...

I saw this,too....you're right on with your description.

This is more of the "the players hate the coach"
freudian-analysis from Jackson.

Even the plays they showed, where Randy didn't
"fight for the ball".........were all his fault.....
not the QB.....or a good play by the DB.

Pathetic........Tom Jackson, best give BB a wide berth this season,if he knows what's good for him.

Someone should record all these Moss critics now so in mid season when Moss is one of the the best receivers in the league they can publish how non-credible these guys are.

Tom Jackson was a football player and is now trying to make a perfect ***** of himself. Belicheck said it best when they met after a Super Bowl win and Jackson held out his hand, Belichek looked him right in the eye and said "**** you". That was the year that the moron said on national tv that the Patriots hated their coach. He's beyond stupid, the fat bastard.

ESPN has really gone downhill with their reporting. I am looking forward to see what you guys are talking about when I get home. Tom Jackson is an idiot.

When they said "they hate their coach" I am not positive on this, but didn't BB just reply with a **** you the next time he saw him?

And yea, ESPN reporting sucks, I used to try to catch anything they said about the patriots, but i don't even watch anymore.

Yes, he did--but what makes it entertaining was when BB said it--it was after the Pats had won the Super Bowl. :singing:

I continue to stand by my pledge to abstain from ESPN until they finally decide who is most NOW.

Tom Jackson really doesn't do himself favors by making uneducated guesses BUT I think the funniest part about NFL LIVE today was the fact when the commentator asked what new running back in the AFC team will help him the most.. TJ reply " Jamal Lewis".. Then the fantasy guy basically said "sorry Tom I'm going the other way.. Stay away from Jamal Lewis because.. bang bang bang (he started listing off stuff).. Next shot of Jackson was his hands folded over his chest like he was being defensive and pouting...hehhehe.. to funny..

TJ is just as absurd as wrong bogus is....they both hate BB and go out of their way to rip the pats. Aparently BB didn't shake hands with TJ after the superbowl in 03. (BB remembering the "they hate their coach" remark) and ever since then TJ's been bashing everything pats!

Now that I think about it, i think BB told TJ to F__k off...when TJ tried to act all friendly!:rocker:

The only times one should watch ESPN.... when the Patriots are playing, when your baseball team is playing, and the 11:00 PM SportsCenter that actually shows highlights. Other than that, the four letter network is garbage.

Like the cute mongrel puppy that grows up into an unsightly freak.

They lost sight of what got them there a long time ago.

When they showed that picture I was truly embarrassed for ESPN. They fabricated a story out of a supposed frown from a still photo. Heres an experiment for everyone stillframe your TV while someone is talking. I guarantee at least 2 out of the 10 frames will look ridiculous. Horrible MTV style "journalism".

I can't believe how many people here want to deny what is blatantly obvious.

Pictures don't lie people. Just accept that this season will be a failure and move on to 2008.

Rule #1: Don't watch ESPN.

Rule #2: Don't watch a sport-specific show during that sport's offseason.

You broke both rules, and deserve what you got.

Just as MTV began its descent into disgrace by its embracing of Madonna and rap "music", then boy-toys and boy-bands, so too has the 4-letter network fallen by its embracing of the NBA/streetball, NASCAR, arena football (a completely unwatchable caricature), and women's sports. Journalistic "integrity" within its TV, radio and magazine departments is an oxymoron. NFL Gameday, once a must-see program, is now merely info-tainment. ESPN has become an agenda-driven, marketing machine, in bed with sneaker companies, record companies, and politically-correct lobbyists. It is sports payola, at its worst. And any organization, or person, who dares stand up to it is ridiculed, or marginalized, if at all possible.

Brady was probably talking to Moss about Tom Jackson and ESPN.
