Everyone bags in the league for being against us but they couldn't of scheduled the bye in a better week.

Awesome

This is horrible! People have nothing to complain about!

Can't help but notice how no one is pointing out that Seattle has to come all the way to Foxboro following a MNF game to play NE who will be coming off the bye. Because acknowledging that fact would be like acknowledging that every team gets a certain degree of good breaks and bad ones when putting together 16 games for 32 teams.

So if the worst happens on the legal front, Brady's going to miss @ARI, MIA, HOU, BUF. So 37.5% of the home games. Though I think Jimmy G will be able to pull out one of those games. And at least the ARI game is out-of-conference and HOU is out-of-division.

I have faith in the GOAT backup. With this team, I think he could go 3–1, and possibly even 4–0.

Oh, one other thing: bye week 9 . . . me likey. :)

I like this schedule a lot. No real complaints at all from my end.

But know what is pissing me off? The yearly lowballing of the Patriots record by the media. And I'm not talking about the national media, they actually usually give the Pats credit in the preseason predictions. No I'm referring to people like Mike Reiss who just now predicted an 11-5 season. I see this EVERY year where the local writers (the good ones even) go on about "oh the schedule is hard and there is a string of games here or there that isn't very friendly" or whatever and then they predict 11-5 or 10-6. It happens every single year. News Flash: the Patriots don't lose 5 games. It just doesn't happen barring some catastrophic injury. And it won't happen now. 12-4 is the absolute floor this year just like it always is.

Meanwhile tonight you see the Packers and Cardinals beat writers predicting 13-3 season which is very realistic. And they are in much tougher divisions than we are.

For reasons I don't quite understand, there's a large contingent of people who seem to think the Patriots are the only team that don't improve in FA and the draft.

Ssshhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! It keeps the over/under down in Vegas!! Easiest money you'll ever make!!

Vegas at least has an excuse for being conservative in their estimates because they need to keep the money line competitive. I expect an O/U of 10.5 wins.

I wish 2-3 bye weeks was the standard instead of 1

To the 3 people who disagreed with this - why? An additional bye week or two would help reduce injuries.

Which sucks, because it means I'll be missing the Pats game. Got tix to the Ortiz one.

Depending on how the Red Sox are doing, it can be tough for me to decide which one to watch, I hate when they are conflicting. Preseason isn't tough, I go with the Sox and DVR the Pats.

Got Sox tix for 9/18 and 10/2, so I guess my decision is already made for those days.

Wow that's even worse. Lol at the idea of losing at the Bills. If they couldn't avoid getting blown out the last 2 years with all the momentum on their side there is no chance in hell they are beating us this year. And the Jets don't have a quarterback combined with a depleted and aging defense. If you want to argue 12-4 I'll listen to you because I can see us taking week 17 off because there's a chance we won't need the win for the 1st seed.

What's up with finishing at Miami for third year in a row and again Miami up here w warm weather? More concerted effort by jackazz Goodell to give pats less of an advantage
