Bring back steven ridley?

What do you guys think about that? He really didnt do anything on the Jets so his value should be low.

Plus, with a year removed from the acl he should be back to his normal self. Its clear we need a 1st and 2nd down back

I'm content with Lewis and Blount, as long as we get the OL figured out.

No objection at all to seeing how he's doing..think he left on good terms.

I'm all for it. Good runner, knows the system and little impact on the cap. No matter who the RB's are, the OL needs improvement in the run blocking department. Hopefully a majority of that happens with the natural improvement of Jackson and Mason.

I really liked Ridley when he was here but he did not look very good in jersey

I could see him being brought into camp as competition.

Nope. I was a Ridley supporter but it is time to move on. I would look seriously at Forte, Miller, Ivory and Anderson, and then draft a back in the mid rounds. They need a back who can give them 250+ carries and a 1,300 yard season.

Why he ****ing sucks, i'd rather get a rookie free agent than Ridley.

I'm all for it, he can't be worth much after that season.

Forte or Ivory , try to get them on fair deals that works for both parties (hoping at this point they value legacy over money, but that's not a given. I also don't hate them for choosing $). If that doesn't work out, I'd look strongly at CJ Anderson.

I just brought this up in another thread. Ridley's year last year was effectively a red shirt. That's how post-ACL injury years tend to go. Expect Dion Lewis to not fully be himself this year (sorry). Now Ridley has that redshirt year out of the way (Thanks Jets!). Why not bring him back on the cheap?

Are you though? I'm not saying bring back Ridley but Blount is so average. Throw the "he's over 4 YPC" stuff around all you want but he isn't very good. Just watch him run and dance behind the line of scrimmage.

The offensive line being garbage didn't help the situation for any of the RB's this year but we can do better than Blount.
