Already said the defense has been playing very well and i'm glad to be wrong, but some of you act like you get turned on to keep trying to argue about it anyway. If someone says they were gladly wrong, why does it tickle your pickle to keep debating like someone is still arguing?

The only thing I will say now is that we have no linebacker depth behind Jamie Collins and Hightower. Look at the last game. Look at the drop off when both are off the field. we have two good linebackers and then a cliff after that. Linebackers get injured often, so it's ridiculous to say two good linebackers is "a lot of depth." Mayo is just a shell of himself and good leadership. Anyone after that is just average at best.
It would be nice if some of you could admit you were wrong about that, but of course you won't.
How many teams have more than average at best 3rd and 4th linebackers? Those are definitely backup positions. Having anything better than "average at best" as your backup linebackers is a real luxury. Take away all of the starting linebackers of any team in the NFL and they will suddenly have a very hard time stopping the run.

The drop off from Collins and Hightower is huge because they are both among the best linebackers in the NFL, that is a huge freaking luxury to have. So off course the next guy in line will look sucky. Most guys in the NFL will not look very good, especially backups, when they have to cover for two possible all pros. Hell, a lot of starting linebackers would probably look sucky if we had them as backups and they had to come in with Hightower or Collins out.

It would be extremely expensive to have a backup that's close to the same level as Collins and Hightower.

I don't care, I can't stand it.

I wasn't around for that thread but had seen so many posters referencing it I searched it out and read it last night. That was an Epic thread.

What happened to patradomus? Banned or quit?

Nobody knows for sure.

Some say when the moon is full and the night is quiet, you can faintly hear him crying like the little ****ing girl he is.

Could we please stop using the term girl as a degrading term on this forum? Stuff like that happens surprisingly often here, and feels like you've went back a bunch of years in time, while it doesn't add anything.

Spontaneous combustion.....

Yeah Collins and HT need to be out there at least one of them for the defense to be kept together they are the key of how Patricia runs his scheme. I wonder how Carolina would look if they didn't have Kuechly or T. Davis

Last I checked, little girls whine and cry more than men do. If I'm incorrect than show me a source that proves me wrong and I'll gladly retract my statement.

So do little boys? Your point?

You jump in a conversation that you weren't involved with to hand up a piece of useless information.

Yes little boys also whine and cry, as do little girls. What's your point?

No disrespect but I think this is overly sensitive. Would you have had a problem if he said "crying like a little kid"?

Dislike seemed appropriate. Calling someone a girl as a pejorative is immature and frankly misogynst and has no place in a civil discussion.

In a 3-4 or 4-3, is the third linebacker a "backup"?
We play 4-2-5 because Collins and Hightower can make up for not having another linebacker, and the extra DB can make up for our lack of talent back there.

Behind our 2, we have no one we'd want starting in the playoffs.

It is not about who they should have signed or how well of a job they did. I'm not saying they didn't do all they could do. That does not change the fact that we have no depth behind TWO linebackers.
So we are complaining about a situation that virtually all 32 teams face?

Lol you may be lost buddy. This is an online forum where a bunch of possibly intoxicated guys come to talk football and shoot the **** about their favorite team. The town hall meeting you were looking for is that way ---->

The Crying Game

Girls and boys cry about the same amount of times until they reach the age of twelve, by the time they are eighteen women cry on average four times more than men. That is about 5.3 cries a month compared to a man's 1.4 times per month according to research by Dr. William Frey who studies tears.
So what you should have said is cries like a woman, not a little girl. Then it is factually correct.

I think I've managed to alienate everyone now...

It irks me to no end that we don't have two All-Pro caliber LBs to back up our two All-Pro caliber LBs. Other teams go like five deep.

My Madden team on Easy Mode is at least 6 deep, and I don't settle for anything less than 3 Pro Bowls for my backup QB. Anyone can get 1 Pro Bowl vote, so you gotta make sure it's quality depth.
