Happens every year. I've seen it take until almost 8:00 for final news to get around.

Unlikely. That was my speculation all along, $450,000 for a couple weeks' assistance with some wiggle room for each side in the event he actually makes the team.

Pats have had an undrafted rookie free agent make the Week 1 roster for 11 straight years. If Harper survives, he'd make it 12 in a row.
