But when I would play every year prior, I ALWAYS held my draft after the 4th PS game (sometimes right before) to account for injuries. I, like my Pats, would roll the dice on an injured player and just stash him from time-to-time. I never understood why some people hold drafts so early. I know one dude at work who had his draft two weeks into TC. What?Thank Goodness that we have a smart commissioner for the "official" patsfans FF league who actually waited to have the draft. Good call, @Brady_to_Moss.
Guys like Nelson, Cobb, Martavius Bryant, Arian Foster (and even Brady's uncertainty) would've sucked to lose without knowing their status heading into the draft.
Wow. Rodgers with a chance to build some serious legacy here if he can get somewhere this season.
I'm just not big on the Saints defense to trust them. I think Minnesota could be a major sleeper this year.Didn't see them winning SB without Nelson anyways, so this doesn't change my opinion. Barring injuries, I expect Seattle to be back in the SB after beating either the Saints, Cowboys or Cardinals in the NFCCG.
Ha ha. Dobson does not command that kind of compensation at this point. LOLThey can have Dobson for a 2016 2nd and a 2017 3rd.
Really? Aw shootHa ha. Dobson does not command that kind of compensation at this point. LOL
Bulaga left the game too.
Yup, but they stumbled a bit out of the blocks last season too (though not primarily due to key losses). I just view them as somewhat like that Pats in the sense that they have a great QB that can mask a lot of deficiencies and key losses. Will it be enough for them to be in the SB? Only time will tell. I still think they'll finish atop their division, if only because I do not take the other teams seriously. All bets are off in the playoffs though, as anyone can win with a bounce of the football (as GB is well aware of) . . . well, other than the Pats because our balls don't usually have enough PSI to bounce.wow, they're going to struggle early on in the season
It didn't sound too bad with him. But definitely a concern for them considering they have to face Seattle and KC in weeks 2 and 3.wow, they're going to struggle early on in the season
I have not followed many other teams this off season, so I ask is KC supposed to be good this season? They seemed legit for a little while last season and then fizzled pretty miserably. I do know Jamaal Charles called himself the Lebron of football . . . ridiculous considering a) he's not the best RB in football (at least not in my opinion) and b) basketball is inherently a two-way sport. Unless Charles is getting on the field defensively, I do not see how he can make such a proclamation. It didn't sound too bad with him. By the way, am I the only one on the East Coast right now? It's 2:40a and I am on Patsfans.com. I can't sleep and I have football on my mind (I really should reconcile with the GF - she just makes me so at times). I'm actually downloading the KC game from last season as I type this. That's one of the two or so games from last season that I somehow never got on my HDD.
LOL! I know! I just cannot sleep. I guess it does not help that I knocked out at around 6:30p on Saturday. It was raining all day so I was stuck inside. I had to cancel two of my photography gigs because of the weather. There's only so much photo editing I can do at home before I get a little bored with that (the one aspect of photography I actually don't like). Ah well. If I have to be up, I can't think of a better place to be . . . well other than inside my GF's . . . never mind. What, too strong?welcome to Patsfans, Patsboy12....stay up long enough and the west coast guys will be here to keep you awake..
All I know is they have Justin Houston and Tamba Hali coming off those edges. Watch out.I have not followed many other teams this off season, so I ask is KC supposed to be good this season?
