The fact that Berman called into question the veracity of the Wells report and the lack of evidence against Brady signals that, without a settlement, the NFL is very likely to lose because they'd have no basis for the punishment. And with no basis, everything else was a farce and unwarranted..

I took it seriously for the first sentence, but by sentence 2-3 it was pretty clear what you were getting at.

Munson is a walking example of Poe's Law. There's no possible quote so stupid that it would clearly be satire, because there's no possible statement that's too stupid for idiot like him to say.

There are no good days in DeflateGate. Only bad days, worse days, and days of horror. If the NFL rescinded Brady's suspension, gave back the draft pick, and fired Goddell, the whole thing would still be a nightmare.

True, but we're already at that point. Basically it's positive because we can only win from here (essentially we are at the lowest point and the NFL has unloaded all their ammo). They have nothing left and it even sounded like Pash was making stuff up that he may be required to answer for later.

If there is indeed a Football God, Brady will get a 5th Super Bowl ring and it will be the most awkward trophy presentation moment ever. It would be an absolute dream come true to see the truly chickenshit Commissioner Scheisskopf skulk off the podium after Brady and Belichick tell him to get f*****g lost.

Hopefully that will happen, but I expect and anticipate the champs taking the trophy and raising it in the air after having let the season they just played speak for itself...

How am I incorrect that he may ultimately decide deflation happened and that it is in the NFL's purview to make such decisions? He asked if there was evidence, and there was not. But that doesn't mean the procedural issues are swept away.

Especially if he believes deflation happened.

Especially if he believes that Brady as the QB was not being honest when he said he didn't notice the deflation. Berman stated flat out that it s inexplicable that Brady didn't notice the deflation.

Judge basically said no evidence linking the balls deflated to Brady. Non cooperation penalty is not supported and courts already ruled on that. (Wells report actually says Brady did cooperate)

To me that means NFL settle this for a fine to end this now or I rule and my ruling will be for Brady.

In Brady's interest to take a fine as NFL can file an appeal and extend this even if Judge tosses it.

I think Goodell won't back down. The smartest decision he ever made was to be born to a US senator.

I was literally amazed that he actually appears to have understood that Kessler was arguing in the alternative when Kessler said that if something happened, Brady had no knowledge of it.

That's exactly it. As soon as I saw that Kessler had said that, my first thought was "Volin's found his next windmill". Pleasantly shocked that he didn't entirely miss the point.

This is the simplest thing for the Judge to do. Why bother the difficult look at if there was manual deflation when the NFL can't even prove Brady would have been involved if it even happened. This is about Brady and the NFL hasn't tied him to anything. That nothing happened is step 2. The judge has to work it backwards from the accusations against Brady vs forwards from the PSI
