Toucher is harping on "so they deliberately turned in under inflated balls?" Not the point. I'll bet the pats never measure the Psi before handing them in.
That would be a game changer if true. I hope there's more to this.
Toucher is being a moron. He is claiming this is worse that deflating them after they are tested by the refs. This is the same thing that Aaron Rodgers said he does. He claimed he tried to turn in over inflated balls to sneak by the refs. And the media said that was ok, but it is different than deflating them after they are measured.
It is ridiculous. If the Pats turned them in under inflated and the refs measured them with a gauge, they would have been declared under inflated and inflated to the proper PSI. No harm, no foul.

Right, and it completely jives with what Belichick said, "we tell them to set them at 12.5." Sadly if this is true I'm sure the national reaction will be similar to Touchers
Is he always that obtuse? Toucher is stupid. I have never stayed at home to listen to them. What a stupid human being.Toucher is harping on "so they deliberately turned in under inflated balls?" Not the point. I'll bet the pats never measure the Psi before handing them in.
But how is it worse that giving it to the refs at the proper PSI and then deflate them after the fact.
It's not, people are just dumb.
Agree, that's what I thought, also. But, at this point, I'm not sure anymore what I've heard, seen and/or read about this ****show.I believe that BB said during his press briefing on Saturday that they gave the balls to the Officials for them to inflate to the proper pressure.
Rich was just on the air and said that they had multiple sources that the Pats turned in the balls to the league prior to the game slightly under inflated and the refs approve them. So the refs didn't measure the balls.
