Mr Kraft, The Time has Come To Ask: Whose Side Are You On?

what's our job?...lay in the street and take it up the azz from the 31 other fanbases as they sh!t all over our team in the media?

Thanks but no thanks Bob...it's clear you and your other 31 billionaire buddies think these dog and pony show controversies are great for business. This is one fan who doesn't. This is one fan who isn't going to sit here quiet, like a good little consumer, while you play the stoic mute and let near brain dead media sub-mongoloids blabber on incessantly like crack addled junkies bobbing for vials.

Ref have balls at half----->balls given to ballboys---->controversy fueled by drug addict drunk owner------>immediate call in state police investigators and grill ballboys, offer polygraphs, get answers right then. Period. This Goodell bullshyt show is yet another insult to any NORMAL person's intelligence.
The longer this goes without a disposition, the more Preparation H we're all gonna need...

Now wait just a minute. There's a whole other thing they should also do which you completely forgot about. Remember, the ball itself could be defective. So they need to inflate it to the league standard psi range, then submerge it in some water while
squeezing it slightly to see if any air is escaping from the ball. That alone can't be done in less than a week. They must have a team of 250 going balls to the wall so to speak to get it done in 5 days.

I haven't read anybody mentioning the fact that the alleged ball (the one intercepted) was in the possession of the accusers. How can this chain of custody yield a definitive conclusion? What's to say the Colts didn't deflate it and then turn it in to bust the Patriots balls for abusing them on the field.

Like I said in the other thread -- the ball is completely irrelevant (for all the reasons you say). It's all going to come down to what the ballboys tell the investigators and what sideline personnel (and any available sideline video) say about what the ballboys did or didn't do.

For whatever reason, you are making a very simple thing too difficult for yourself.

All you have to do is read the OP. I have not strayed from that one iota throughout. It's very easy.
Your last part is hilarious:

"If you are now saying he should demand the investigation to end before the SB, the league has said it should.
I'm confused at what your complaint is now"

As in the OP, my point is the same THEN as it is NOW. Nothing has changed (even though you somehow think it has).

1) No need for some public rant by Kraft to defend the Patriots. It would be moot.

2) He should use his considerable influence with the league to demand a thorough and TIMELY investigation (no letting it fester for 4+ weeks through and beyond the Super Bowl).

3) Without a PUBLIC and CLEAR finding by the league that closes the book on this issue (whether it is FOR or AGAINST the Patriots - - let the truth come out unequivocally) BEFORE the Super Bowl, then the Patriots and their fans are being screwed.

The league saying "Oh yeah, we wrapped up the investigation, but we won't tell the public our findings until March" doesn't cut it.

That is as clear a summary as you can read, Andy. I don't imagine you can screw that up again.

In the end, here's a cold, hard fact for you:

67 people had no problem clearly understanding and agreeing with the OP.

You and "Darrone" have a problem with it.

It is what it is.
Wow you really are an arrogant internet tough guy aren't you.
So let me make it simple for you.
I don't care about your OP, I didn't read it and don't care to honestly.
I was commenting on the topic of whether Kraft should speak before facts are clear.
You seem to think that means you must shift the conversation to something different.
If you want to discuss all of that, find someone who is interested If you want to respond to my comment that speaking without facts is rarely a good idea, then limit your discussion to that
You responded to my comment, I did not respond to your OP.
At least be mature enough to not act like you have to teach the rest of the world that what you want to talk about is what they need to.
As to the point I was making I stand by it and nothing you have said within your arrogant rants change that.

Best regards, Andy.

I will be very happy if the NFL wraps up their investigation in the next few days AND announces the results AND most importantly, answers media questions in detail.

Remember, it's important to finish this quickly so that the league's resources can focus on the tampering charge against the Jets owner.

Here we go. Distraction beyond even Spygate which happened at the start of that year. (The Tomase thing was weak). And as someone already mentioned, the Pats players are going to have to endure this on media day, while BB will have to deal with it the next week and a half. Wonder where Kraft will be?

Well if indeed 11 balls were under inflated it's on the officials. It is their responsibility to check the pressure before game time. It looks like they didn't check any. Another example of the league's incompetence. Now they need 2 days to figure out how to deflect this S&$@ Storm. What a joke. Thanks Rodger.

Could have been the team doing it after the officials checked the balls. That's likely where the investigation is focused.

1.) Did the officials actually test the balls?
2.) If so, was the gage working properly?
3.) If so, did the Patriots mess with them afterwards?

jeezus krist....what this IS is a transparent PR grab by the NFL (Goodell) to shed the stigma of incompetence and poor leadership this past year. No wonder the Goon was at the game WITH Krafty Bob. So, BB will fall on his sword for our wondrous owner, Goodell gets back his tough guy credibility and the rest of the owners go on raking in even MORE filthy lucre.

"The NFL is extremely disappointed..."...yeah, thanx, Mort for being so specific. Puzzy. Now about the EXACT proof, the irrefutable evidence of ANYTHING...uh...we'll wait while the NFL(Goodell) sits around a few more days until another brainstorm comes up to further polish his shiny new "image".

I called this from the start...the minute this "story" broke. There is no way in creation anything like this is even dreamed of if not for the already established "Cheatriots" meme. Now, using this arcane "ball inflation-gate" ruse, this rotten scumbag has once again taken a long steamy dump on ALL OF US. Don't you people GET THIS??? We're the suckers in this game. All Kraft has to do is move on from Belichick and HIS treasure bath continues unabated, while he and the rest of the owners and their 40 million dollar a year catspawdell party on. Sure Brady will get this last shot at the ring. Don't expect a fair game. Afterwards, the Goon will announce his "sanctions" crippling the franchise again by robbing draft picks, BB will step down with a golden parachute and a wink wink from Kraft, Brady will get shipped and we're on to the "new" clean Patriots, fronted by heartthrob, JimmyG.

WE will be the suckers the next iteration of this dog and pony sham bilks like rubes at a country carnival.

Now do you see why Kraft didn't say a word?

He already took a pie to the face when he came out denying the Pats taped signals in 2007.

Yeah I do think we wanted Kraft to say something on the assumption of no Patriots wrongdoing. I'm still not sure they did anything wrong. (I'm leaning toward the possibility TB12 did, but we'll see.) But if they DID do something wrong, it will be smart he hasn't defended it. If not, he still probably should have.

I will speak for myself and say I wanted Kraft to get in front of this because I didn't imagine we actually were culpable for anything. He may know better than that.

Once again, that's not what I was talking about. I don't agree with those wanting Kraft to go on a speech.

Not a press conference or public speech, but a demand from the league for a quick, prompt and fair (i.e. no partial leaks before the final conclusion) investigation that doesn't drag out beyond the SB. THAT is well within Kraft's influence with the league. It is something he allowed to drag out in 2007-2008.

Mind you, it probably doesn't matter now anyway. Even if the refs were at fault for not catching it, or the weather was ultimately at fault, other fans are going to put the asterisk there same as they did with the camera thing. (Heck they say our first 3 were tainted, even though the camera placement was legal back then.)

From that perspective, it's hard to care at this point. It's already done. Even if we win this year the championship won't be clean in any eyes but ours.

And to be frank, the reason I wanted this one so bad was so we could have an uncontested victory season. With that out the window, I'm having trouble not caring a little less. I hope that's just because I'm in a bad mood and it goes away.

Makes no sense.

The fallout from this will be all the news Super Bowl week and beyond. The league already stated that they conclude the investigation this week. There will always be leaks. Good reporters get info. Kraft coming out and trying to cram this thing through only looks more suspicious.

'Cram it through'??? 'Looks more suspicious'?

He has every right to demand that the league investigation is thorough, fair and timely - - i.e. they do not sit on it until March. This is a very easy and focused subject to investigate - - should not take more than 48-72 hours. And there should not be leaks before the final conclusion.

What is 'suspicious' about any of that?

If the team is truly innocent of all this, then it's even more important that BB and Kraft just flat out deny everything. This story is gaining steam and the silence from Foxboro is making things worse not better.
