Jets are bad but this is a very flawed Patriots team too. I wouldn't be on this game.

Based on that weather..it will be a running type game..hard to do against them

I'm ready B to M...

Hopefully wind will die down. Pats have an opportunity to throw all over the Jest and that secondary.

If anything, the rain makes for a better passing game. It neutralizes the pass rush and gives an advantage to the offense. The ball being slippery when wet is overrated. The real advantage comes from the lack of ability to react not act.

Yup! Short week for us both. Injuries are key here for us notably O Line. Our running game takes a hit with Ridley not sure how bad his injury is and of course Mayo. On a positive note it's good to see that Brady has options now gaining more confidence and will only get better more games they play. Hopefully Browner plays Thursday.

There was allot of talk about Buffalos front and Cincy for that matter. The Jets is superior to those two, they are awesome. It's actually sorta sad that they are being somewhat squandered by a crappy coaching staff. But, all in all they are the Jest, but they make me nervous.....

d%#*!@t, the football gods gave us snow in October before. . . .

A flawed Patriots team that supposedly has no offense or o-line even though they have scored 80 points over the last two games (outscored the last two opponents for a combined score of 80-39) against two of the top ranked defenses going into the game. The Pats are not nearly flawed as you are making them out to be.

The Pats have a huge advantage this week since the Jets will likely practice tomorrow and Tuesday and travel on Wednesday. The Pats will have an extra day to prepare on a short week which is big.

Yeah, you're right, the Pats have been all world beaters... not flawed at all....Super Bowl here we come

Never said that. You called them a "very flawed team". They have their flaws, but they are still one of the top teams in the NFL who just took some time to get their footing. They have flaws, but they aren't a team on an 7-9 or 8-8 course barring injuries. That is a very flawed type of team.

The Jets will not be easy. Even if the Pats blow them out, in the end, the game will be tough. I hope the team can start getting players back instead of losing them.

I'd love another multisack effort from Ninko. He has had a rough start to the year. Great to see him settle in. I see people talking about needing a replacement for him. Never got that.

Revis will run Jet's routes better than the receivers. I want to see a pick six.

Hopefully the o-line keep the pocket clean. No way Brady makes it through 4 quarters without taking a few hard hits. Those are a given.

The run blocking has been pretty trashy without Mankins. Wendell back at guard will help open things up for Vereen and Bolden. Hope Stork is back.

Losing Mayo really hurts, but these guys made things work without him already. Hightower will have to take over in his place, on the field and in the locker room. Collins might be the make or break player down the middle now.

If the Jets are going to drop into coverage then screens and 3 step drops to short slants shoulder murder them.

What makes me nervous are the injuries. The Buffalo Tomato Cans are a physical team and while they really do stink and lost the game they put a whooping on this Patriot team injury wise.
The New York Tomato Cans are an equally physical defense. Bad weather, i.e. rain just might be a blessing for the Patriots because it will limit the aggressiveness of the Jets.
Following the NY Tomato Cans will be the Chicago Bears defense, also with some heavy hitters.
I expect the Patriots to win the next 2 games (unless the good Jay Cutler shows up. If that happens the Bears can win here) and they'll be 6 - 2 at the halfway point of their schedule.
Problem is the physical toll this team is facing as they're piling up the W's in the weak part of their schedule.
Mayo is a huge loss immediately and Ridley's loss will be felt much more significantly down the road as the weather gets colder, the opposition gets better and the running game becomes more important.

Jets Dropped 8 into coverage and still got pressure. Pats gonna have to run and without Ridley. Time for White to show he was worth the pick.

I hated the pick in the draft but whatever... White needs to prove me wrong and step in and do something. So many undrafted and 5th+ round guys have come into the NFL as rookies over the past couple of years and played awesome. White, a 4th rounder, should be more than capable of doing a solid job.
