Rodney preaching the Patriot way

Nice story!

So BB and his wife were still a public item then, I guess. :)

No, Bill's wife wasn't there (his son was with him though). Rodney had his wife (could have been his GF, but it seemed like his wife) with him. We had a chance to talk with them afterwards in the lobby. The only bad part was that I couldnt ask for an autograph. It would have just seemed lame and ruined the moment. He is a cool "ordinary" kind of dude.

I have met Rodney several times. My wife and I actually had a chance to talk to him and his wife for about 10 minutes, after the '04 sb dvd premiere.

The guy is a class act off the field. You would never believe it was the same person. He is going to make a great coach some day. lol- I have some pretty cool pics of him and BB posing with their SB rings.

We got lucky, and had seats right (Directly) in front of them inside the theater. All we had to do was turn around and ask them if we could take some pics. I was so nervous talking to Bill, that my wife had to chime in and save me from embarrassment... I felt like a giant ****! lol- Funny, because I had no problem talking to Rodney... but when it came to BB, I started stuttering and sounded like an idiot. :D

Very cool story! If you ever get the pics up online love to see them.

They are Polaroid's... but maybe I can take a picture of them with my digital camera and post them. I'll try to do it later, and see how they come out. ;)

Someday, Rodney will be an outstanding HC in the NFL. I just can't help but think that somehow he would have found a way to stop Indy at least once in that second half and the Pats would be getting fit for pinky rings right now.

* If the offense had managed a 1st down or 2 in the 2nd half it would have made all the difference in the world

The Tennessee game actually cost us a SB win, I think we win the Indy game if Harrison is in the lineup. Oh well, that's football.

I was in favor of having the starters rest that game...when Rodney went down, deep down inside I knew we were done.

Rodney is the man no doubt about it...Can't wait until the season to come...He is a true leader...Wonder if he can possible becone a coach like Ottis???

I was torn between resting the starters and letting the starters continue to roll and go for the win. In some ways I thought BB would rest them but in retrospect I wasn't surprised to see them out there either. Oh well.

I agree-seeing Rodney go down was a bad event.

I would love to see him in stripes right after he retires.

Imagine him calling a Bengal or Colt game?

Hilarious.

IMO, Thomas is already a better TE than Watson. He's got great hands, runs better routes, and is a better blocker. I still don't understand why the team didn't go to him more after the Jacksonville game.
