Randy Moss is Worth a First Pick, Easily.

Bellichick respects moss and his ability, Bellichick knows how he changes what a Defence can do, and thats why he is, as they say enamored with moss. Bellichick didn't put up with terry glenn, so if he thought this was a bad situation, he would be interested, but he obviously knows something.

You guys all sound like ron borges (your all copying each other)

I agree Moss is worth a #1 pick. The Gaydoers should give us their #1 pick to take him off their hands. :)

I'd give up a first rounder as well, especially since we have 2 and they are both so late.

How many stiffs have been drafted in the first round in the NFL? This guy has proven what he can do, he just needs a kick in the arse. I think Belichick can work his magic on him.

Bring on Defensive Floss'n Randy Moss'n

I think the PROBLEM is that he has proven what he can do, which is worry about himself and loaf on the football field.

I put it at well less than 50/50 that Moss would ever change, on any team.

Supposedly, Moss was available for as little as a 4 or 5 at the trade deadline. I'm not sure what would've changed from there until now. The main problem isn't Moss's character or any of that jazz, it's his contract.

Randy Moss not only makes Brady Better, He makes Watson, Maroney, Welker all Much Better, Not too mention the O-Cordinator look like a Genius. When Randy Is on his game, he can change the way a D-fence plays us, like no other player can.

If Welker is worth a second and Branch is worth a First.

I say a chance that Moss Could Live up to his talent is Worth a First, Easily.

Can't remember a time the guy wasn't a headache or left it all on the field. I'll pass!

A first round pick and 10 mill a year is worth a guy who now averages 50 catches a year for 750 yards or so? That's new to me.

He is the poster child for "Underachieving Prima Donna"

Bull****. He has a sucky character. Please end this discussion until the guy has a personality transplant.

I think its a big reach to guess what is in BBs head.
I dont buy that what BB says to a reporter is actually what he believes. There are too many potential ulterior motives, not to mention a refusal to knock the guy being taken as an endoresement.
One thing you said I cannot possibly believe is that BBs RESPECTS Randy Moss,

If Oakland give us their third round pick and Randy Moss, I say do it.

Oh, that's funny, I thought we were talking about football players, not discussing canonization.

Ty Law has been in as much trouble as Randy Moss has and had his own character issues, but we were all willing to overlook that because he was a Patriot. Dillon, same thing, because he reformed when he was here (not that he was a problem until his last year in Cincy anyways). Moss loves football and has great knowledge of the game.

Prove me wrong.

You never proved your own case. You just spouted vitriol about Moss, some of which has a basis (he does take plays off), some of which doesn't (he's bad with younger players). Did Moss do something to you personally? Every thread that he's mentioned in, you immediately jump all over him. His talent is undeniable.

Very few football players are saints. The next alternative, Stallworth, sure isn't.

Moss is worth a first. I had heard the Raiders wanted nbboth first rounds which I would not do.
:singing: BUT I looked on two Oakland Fan Boards and the rumor swirling around there is that the Raiders have asked the Patriots for Pick #28 and QB Matt Cassel( They say Lane Kiffin wants to reunite with him).....

If thats the case do we pull the trigger and address a back up late in the draft?

Jesus H. All these Moss threads and no one is willing to acknowledge my point that Moss' production has plummeted over the last three seasons!!

Character is debatable, production isn't. Moss is not the same threat he was in his prime.

Hmmm openly criticizing the organization, the coaches, and the staff is good for young players. Didn't know. In my world, thats not good.

Openly complaining about not getting enough touches. Yeah, thats great too.

To clue you in.....
In this system, with this team, individualism needs to evaporate. The team and only the team matters. Does that sound like the last two sentences to you?

Here, with this team, ok talent + great character>>>all world talent and poor character. That is why I have been pumped about Welker and down on both Moss and Stallworth.

And, we let Law, Milloy, AV, Meon and any other distractions go, instead of signing for "talent". If you want "talent" go cheer for the Chargers!:bricks:

you cant tell me that is a telling stat though. ken walters? aaron brooks? kerry collins? the o-line in oakland? lack of a run game? these are all problems that are non-existant in NE. is he not worth a first if he brings in 1300 yards and 12 touchdowns?

What is up with a psoter who has posted 4 times????? starting another randy moss thread. maybe they should read the previous 8 and ressurect one of the previous ones.

posters need to do their research
