The Chiefs fierce QB pressure + a depleted Bronco's OLine = a Wes Wekler fantasy fest. Get the ball out fast .......WEKLER style.......18 catches, 141.5 yds 2 TDs. Sobs heard from the east coast

This game may come down to how badly injured Manning truly is. I think if his ankle is really bad, he will have trouble making throws. He threw a lot of ducks prior to the injuries to his ankles. If he cannot step into his throws, they will go from on target ducks to off target ducks.

We certainly WANT the chiefs to win. That would put the 2nd seed well within our reach.

How does that matter, since the teams are in the same division and can't both be ahead of us?

Denver and KC split, New England beats Denver, and we've got a shot at the #1 seed.

I don't care who wins to be honest.

I have a feeling both teams will beat the everliving crap out of each other. Especially KC's front 7 against the Broncos OL. Manning will be weakened for next week's game and that's all that matters in the short term.

KC has a great D, but I still feel like they are a "paper tiger".....and Peyton will bring his scissors.

Neither one has really been tested:

... The highly anticipated game between the visiting Chiefs (9-0) and Broncos (8-1) is unique in that the combined winning percentage of the teams (.944) is the highest for a game this late in the season since 1969 (11-0 Rams vs. 10-1 Vikings), per ESPN Stats & Information. It is also notable that the Chiefs and Broncos have combined to face just one team with a winning record this season (Broncos' 39-33 loss to the Colts in Week 7).

I tend to think of Denver as the more legitimate team, but as we say around here, you can only play the teams that are on the schedule. Looking forward to this game.

Almost changed my pick when I saw that the Rockies were getting hit by high winds and really bad weather (90 mph winds in some places), then they say that Mile High will be fair and calm for the game tonight....get the f..k outta here????? Unbelievable.

Hopefully the high winds follow them to Foxboro next week and stick around for Sunday night. Oh how i want to see Manning play in a bad weather game......

I'm pulling for the Chiefs, but it's going to be tough.

KC leads the NFL in sacks. Manning is nursing a gimpy ankle and he was never the most mobile QB to begin with. I sense a sackfest and a lot of 'Peyton face' this game! Don't care what you say about KC's offense but their defense is legit!

Exactly. With the game being played in Denver and the weather still fairly decent, I think Denver will be the better team today.

If the Broncos win (paired with the Chiefs losing next week and Pats over the Panthers) then the Patriots have a chance to be the #1 seed by next Sunday night.

I would take a chiefs win tonight, pats win tomorrow and then a pats win over Denver. If we win the next 2 games, we could get the #1 seed.

I said in another thread that since I successfully called the Bills upset, I am doubling down and calling the Chiefs to upset.

I think the Broncos will be unable to protect Manning and his high ankle sprain will make his ducks he throw be off target.

Nobody is tougher at home than the Broncos. However, Mannings weak arm is even weaker now because of bad ankles. He was immobile before this problem. I picked Chiefs. If the Broncos have a chance at all, the O line of the Broncos will have to play lights out tonight. Going with the Chiefs though.

Apparently, they will be allowed to play chokes out.

I am rooting for Denver sweep. That gives Pats the help they need for #1 seed.

Still need at least 2 KC losses. And be AFC losses. Because Pats losses are AFC losses

Chiefs have no offense right now. this game will be a blowout if KC does not settle down.

Even though I know that a bronco sweep helps us..Its just so hard to cheer for the forehead...

Completely agree... can't root for Manning no matter what. That said, neither team looked that scary tonight.
