We certainly WANT the chiefs to win. That would put the 2nd seed well within our reach.
KC has a great D, but I still feel like they are a "paper tiger".....and Peyton will bring his scissors.
... The highly anticipated game between the visiting Chiefs (9-0) and Broncos (8-1) is unique in that the combined winning percentage of the teams (.944) is the highest for a game this late in the season since 1969 (11-0 Rams vs. 10-1 Vikings), per ESPN Stats & Information. It is also notable that the Chiefs and Broncos have combined to face just one team with a winning record this season (Broncos' 39-33 loss to the Colts in Week 7).
Neither one has really been tested:
I tend to think of Denver as the more legitimate team, but as we say around here, you can only play the teams that are on the schedule. Looking forward to this game.
If the Broncos win (paired with the Chiefs losing next week and Pats over the Panthers) then the Patriots have a chance to be the #1 seed by next Sunday night.
Nobody is tougher at home than the Broncos. However, Mannings weak arm is even weaker now because of bad ankles. He was immobile before this problem. I picked Chiefs. If the Broncos have a chance at all, the O line of the Broncos will have to play lights out tonight. Going with the Chiefs though.
I would take a chiefs win tonight, pats win tomorrow and then a pats win over Denver. If we win the next 2 games, we could get the #1 seed.
Even though I know that a bronco sweep helps us..Its just so hard to cheer for the forehead...
