What do you expect from these players in their 2nd season? These are mine.

Chandler Jones - 72 tackles, 13.5 sacks, 8 batted balls, 5 forced fumbles
Dont'e Hightower - 95 tackles, 7.5 sacks, 2 interceptions, 8 pass defends, 2 forced fumbles
Tavon Wilson - 85 tackles, 5 interceptions, 12 pass defends, 2 fumble recoveries
Jake Bequette - 15 tackles, 2.5 sacks
Nate Ebner - 20 tackles(12 ST), 1 interception, 1 forced fumble, 2 fumble recoveries, 3 pass defends
Alfonzo Dennard - 55 tackles, 8 interceptions, 1 forced fumble, 18 pass defends
Justin Francis - 20 tackles, 4 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 2 fumble recoveries
Jamie Ebert - Cut in camp
Marcus Fortson - Makes practice squad
Markus Zusevics - Rotational swing tackle with limited snaps.

I really think a full offseason and understanding the NFL is going to take Jones, Hightower and Dennard to elite levels.

And the Patriots win 85 in a row and the next 5 SBs

And you become a positive human being that people enjoy hearing responses from.

I'm not the one who decided to create a post with ridiculous expectations.

Is there certain ones in particular that you disagree with? I'm open to hearing that not interested in your foolish and smug comments however. Feel free to chime in like an adult though.

This is just ridiculous, do you actually beleive in any of that to happen? That is more of a dream scenario. You are basically saying that all of the our low round rookies and Dennard will be pro bowlers? Or close to it? First of all, Wilson with 5 pics and 85 tackles? Not going to happen. This is not realistic in any way

I'm not the one who decided to create a post with ridiculous expectations.

Ridiculous is saying Ebert was going to have 100 catch season..

It's possible that Jones could stay healthy and make the 2nd year leap like JJ Watt, Pierre-Paul did.
It's possible that Hightower could spend more time on the field and increase his production across the board.
It's possible Dennard who played in 10 games limited in some could increase his 3 interceptions and 7 pass defends on year 2.
It's possible that Wilson as a year 2 starter could compile 40 more tackles and 1 interception to be around the average for a starting NFL safety.

Shall I continue Andrew?

Wilson had 45 tackles and 4 interceptions as a rookie with limited snaps. As a starter he could easily get 40 more tackles and 1 more interception.

Look at their rookie snaps and then project it over 16 games and its not that ridiculous. Is it hopeful, aggressive and optimistic? Yes but not impossible.

It's not rediculous to think that Jones and/or Dennard could be All-Pros next year.

8 interceptions for Dennard?

13.5 sacks for Jones?

5 Ints for Tavon?

We'll be lucky if one of those comes true to the tune of 80% of what you are projecting.

But hey, lets break it down

What do you expect from these players in their 2nd season? These are mine.

Chandler Jones - 72 tackles, 13.5 sacks, 8 batted balls, 5 forced fumbles

200% increase in tackles 108% increase in sacks. 60% increase in batted balls. 67% increase in forced fumbles

Dont'e Hightower - 95 tackles, 7.5 sacks, 2 interceptions, 8 pass defends, 2 forced fumbles
120% increase in tackles. 90% increase in sacks, infinite increase in Ints, as he had 0, 160% increase in passes defensed

Tavon Wilson - 85 tackles, 5 interceptions, 12 pass defends, 2 fumble recoveries
280% increase in tackles. 25% increase in Ints, 100% increase in pass defensed

Jake Bequette - 15 tackles, 2.5 sacks
He had no stats, and made the game day roster 3 times.

Nate Ebner - 20 tackles(12 ST), 1 interception, 1 forced fumble, 2 fumble recoveries, 3 pass defends
1 tackle on defense

Alfonzo Dennard - 55 tackles, 8 interceptions, 1 forced fumble, 18 pass defends

60% increase in tackles, 167% increase in Ints. 157% increase in passes defensed

Justin Francis - 20 tackles, 4 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 2 fumble recoveries

Its just unrealistic.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/14977/tavon-wilson

This is what Wilson did playing 42.5% of the snaps. I expect him to start and play 85-90% of the snaps so I base my projections on that.

Jones had 6 sacks in 67% snaps, we also know his injury was a major issue 2nd half of the year.
Wilson had 4 interceptions in 42.5% snaps.
Dennard had 3 interceptions in 54% snaps.

I'm not saying its not extremely hopeful but they do have the capabilities to do what I hope.

Ridiculous is saying Ebert was going to have 100 catch season..
No, ridiculous is what you posted, predicting Ebert to get 100 catches is just more ridiculous.

It's possible that Jones could stay healthy and make the 2nd year leap like JJ Watt, Pierre-Paul did.
Jones is not Watt or Pierre-Paul.

It's possible that Hightower could spend more time on the field and increase his production across the board.
You aren't saying its possible, you are saying you EXPECT IT

It's possible Dennard who played in 10 games limited in some could increase his 3 interceptions and 7 pass defends on year 2.
Not by the ridiculous amounts you EXPECT

It's possible that Wilson as a year 2 starter could compile 40 more tackles and 1 interception to be around the average for a starting NFL safety.
You EXPECT him to go from 25 tackles to 85. Ed Reed had 49. Eric Weddle had 83. Pollard had 71. Goldson had 53. Hell Patrick Willis had 88 and the leading tackler on the Patriots had 87. Sure I expect Wilson to have 85 and Hightower to have 95.
Shall I continue Andrew?

Oh gawd, please don't.

Obviously Andrew the stats would not happen if they played the same number of snaps but if you increase their snaps to reflect the 2nd year leap it is not close to as drastic of an an increase in productivity. So I understand the naked eye outlook but we know that you cannot compare stats from 53% percent of a game to stats of 85-95% like are top starters play on defense.

First of all you are not projecting an increase based on snaps, you are projecting their stats to double, triple, quadruple....

Secondly, Wilson is not a starter and played a very small % of the snaps the last time we had a game
