Almost didn't go to Peter King's MMQB today because, well, because. But I'm glad I did if only for this:

The postgame conversation on the field with Bill Belichick ... Harbaugh: "I'll treasure that conversation forever. Before the game, we talked, and he said maybe we should just skip the postgame handshake because it's such a circus. I said I didn't know; I thought we should do it, it's just the right thing to do. And we did. He was so classy, so gracious. Complimentary about how we played, about our game plan, about how tough it is to play us. I told him how much we pattern our organization around theirs, how much we study them.''

Great to see that. Somehow it doesn't seem to get as much traction as Suggs' be-yaching and Pollard whining about Brady's slide. it should. (Just heard BB on 'EEI and he declined to discuss this conversation by the way).

Also, for all the "classless Brady ran off the field" stuff -- the main photo pretty clearly shows Brady congratulating Flacco post-game.

Lots of people piling on the Pats when they lose. Cheer up Pats Fans. Remember, as Brady says, "Tall trees gets high winds."

Lets see if PFT picks up on this ...all day Pats bashing has been the headline.

Too bad the National media completely ignores this and will brainwash everybody into believing BB is a sore-loser. It really is ridiculous hhow much they try and make BB look like a complete ****.

Well i tweeted to profootballtalk ..maybe more can.

I've said it before: The big problem online is that most of these web sites are run in the New York area. So even if the actual front line reporters aren't biased, the folks sitting in cubicles get to spin everything from their New York fan POV and emphasize whatever they want. It's a shame how much that shapes the nation's perception and feeds this crap.

The headline we'll get:
Harbaugh: Belichick didn't want to shake hands

Um, this didn't happen. We were told that Belichick is a sore loser. He would never be gracious in defeat.

Maybe it was all said sarcastically.

And I also tweeted PFT, but I doubt they do that story. I also doubt it gets mentioned on any of the other sites/channels.

Ho hum, another day of mis-informed sports fans being spoon fed stories from mass media. I did a whole term paper on the subject of how media bias influences sports fans. It's interesting to me, I'm weird I don't know.

The national sports media has an agenda they would like to pursue. This doesn't jive with it.

This is getting pathetic

On another board someone insisted "Of course Belichick is famous for blowing off the handshake, remember when he blew of Coughlin after the 18-1 Super Bowl?"

Of course I did a google image search and it took about 10 seconds to find the picture of them shaking hands, both after SB 42 and after SB 46.

Haters really don't care about facts, since they can readily invent their own fake "facts".

For the record, I LOVE sore losers. Being a good loser is highly overrated.

Umm because he is one? Appearances mean everything all people will remember was BB didn't shake hands after the game. Not to mention him blowing off the CBS post game interview. His arrogance makes easy for Patriot haters to hate them even more. Btw the Dynasty is over might want to change the name.
Nothing better to do than troll a visiting board after a win. Loser.

So if "the Dynasty is over" you are recognizing there once was one. Thanks for that, it's nice to see even haters recognize how impressive and dominant our 01/03/04 run was.

Unbelievable... You know what the Patriots need? Another camera filming the opponents defense. 3 Super Bowl wins = SPYGATE. Cheaters are eventually exposed; Barry Bonds, Lance Armstrong, etc. It's much more difficult to win when you don't have the edge that you had in the past. There is an asterisk attached to the Patriots rings. It's over. Like, Suggs said "have fun at the Pro Bowl!"

Please no one respond to shadybrady, he/she's just a tool looking for attention...

It's easy to win when you know the other teams signals now doesn't it? Those Super Bowls wins will be forever tainted whether you like to admit it or not.

Ok, so you were joking when you said the dynasty is over? Gotcha. If it's so "easy to win" why didn't they win in 05 or 06? If the offense benefited so much from that why has the defense been what constantly lets us down? Why have the Patriots scored more points now then they did back then? And please, explain how since it wasn't made illegal to tape other teams signals in 06 how it was considered "cheating". Some teams did it for years and some teams didn't think it was beneficial, per Super Bowl winning coaches Jimmy Johnson and Bill Cowher. Please, explain how you know more about this than Jimmy Johnson or Bill Cowher.

Oh, and wasn't your former owner FORCED to sell the team because of all the legal trouble he was in? Enjoy your time here, I don't think it will be long.

Have fun being 2nd in the division the next 5 years. Your team is absolutely screwed if Wilson keeps progressing at this rate. :)
