Assuming Pats get the #3 seed, who would you rather the Patriots face?

Personally, I'm voting bengals. Dalton didn't look so good in last years game vs the texans from what I remember. And Jets are a divisional opponent and rex has worked wonders before. Steelers I'd least like to face.

Jets are a circus. Pats would annihilate them :D

I'll take the Steelers. One dimensional passing offense one dimensional defense. Lousy coach. Yeah definitely the Steelers.

AJ Green is beastly and Bjge doesn't fumble very often and has been playing better lately.

Jets? Lol they ain't making the playoffs period. And if by some miracle they do, all that's waiting for them is embarrassment of epic proportions.

Don't care out of those choices, but I picked the Bengals.

Colts. They're the least physical team of all the options and the Pats already crushed them once.

colts and yes...we will be #3 seed

Anyone but pittsburgh.

Why aren't the Colts in the poll?

I'd rather face the Bengals.

EDIT: Sorry, brain fart. We wouldn't play the Colts based on seeding.

They dont have a lousy coach. And Ben R is the best of 3 QB's. Their WR's are too fast for us and their D is still one of the best even if we have had success against them.

I agree. People can argue that they are one-dimensional, their defense is old, blah blah blah, but this team is probably one of the most playoff-experienced teams in football after us, Ravens, Giants, Packers.

Jets; it's a twofer: get to embarrass a hated team and the PO appearance will buy them a few more years of being slightly better than the really bad teams!

In my real world the Colts, again because I really don't like them and think the Pats will roll any WC team they face.

I don't think it matters. The wild card contenders really aren't going to worry anyone on the AFC side. They're either in transition years or just not very good.

I don't really care. But if I had my choice ...

Ravens. Ravens are 9-5. Lose out (to the Giants and @Cincinnati) and they are 9-7. Win out and Cincinnati is 10-6 and wins the AFCN. The Colts win 1 more and they are the #5 seed.

Serve me up some jailbird fricasee in Foxboro. Time to payback the 33-14 loss in 2009 and the game earlier this year. The Ravens are in shambles. Nice confidence builder before going to Denver.

Meanwhile let the Colts play the Bengals and the winner goes to Houston to be served up. Texans won't really have had any major tests between our last game in Foxboro and hopefully the next one in the AFCCG.

But again, I'll take any one.

You included the team least likely to get in (Jets) and didn't include the team most likely to get in (Colts)???

Anyways, Ravens. If Cincinnati wins out, I think they get the North. The Ravens are riddled with injuries right now, offense is stagnant, and look like they are going to implode.

Also a note to others, just because we crushed the Colts doesn't mean it's going to happen again. A lot of fans said the same thing when we crushed the Jets 45-3 only to lose to them in the playoffs. I expect a closer game and I'm also a little wary that if Pagano returns for the post season, they'll have an emotional boost. Still think the Pats easily win though.

Ravens. Take out the fact we are the third seed, because of their win that really wasn't, on them.

Still holding out hope that the Broncos could lose. Stranger things have happened.

Can't wait.

He didn't mention the Colts because they're almost definitely getting the fifth seed and therefore not playing us.

Don't see us playing the Colts, so I'll go with the Steelers. Just have to watch the film of last year in case LeBlow pulls out that trick again (zone blitz vs. press man). I wouldn't mind playing the Bengals, either, but I think their defense would pose more of a problem for our offense with the way they're able to generate pressure up the A and B gaps.
