don't know who ever had him in the 2nd round. I figured he would not get to 27 even before the combine.

CBS and GBN both had Cox in the mid 30's as late as senior bowl week. But then the combine backed up everything he put on tape and he exploded up draft doards.

Amazingly, I think once he gets some pro coaching, he is going to get even better as a pro. I'm not knocking Miss State, but their coaching staff is no where near the quality of the Alabama or LSU or SC staffs.

Kuechly is a MLB. The Eagles just added Demeco Ryans to be their middle linebacker. Care to explain why they would still be interested in Kuechly?

A little annoyed that Shae McClellin is rising into the first as I would rather see the Pats trade out of the first round completely.

We didn't take Lamar Woodley when it was pretty obvious we should have. We're not taking a poor man's Lamar Woodley (aka Courtney Upshaw) the second go around.

BB will never take Courtney Upshaw because of the Patriots ridiculous height requirements for LBs. Instead he will go to the Steelers and be a perennial Pro-Bowler.. Instead the Patriots draft LBs for their height like Shaun Crable....

I think the criteria is more arm length than height for 3-4 outside linebackers.

You may end up getting your wish, obviously depending upon how the board shakes out.

I could see McClellin being right on the border, although I am far, far from a draft guru.

Personally, my guess is that BB trades one and takes one in the first round.

Nebraska CB Alfonzo Dennard was arrested at a nightclub in Lincoln NE. Apparently he first got into an altercation at the club and when a policeman came over to intervene Dennard punched the cop in the face.


Nice timing.


I would say that event merits inclusion into the 'falling' category.
