Tate over Wallace is another example. Tate had an ACL injury in college. But yet they took him anyway.
Thank you Monday Morning GM! It isn't another example other than to your ignorant (I mean in the misinformed sense) eye. No one thought Mike Wallace was going to be a good player. He was a project at best at draft time. Many people had him no higher than a 5th rounder. No one said the Pats should have taken Wallace. In fact, many people thought the Steelers reached for Wallace. He was raw and believed to be more potential than production.
You know what? People thought the Pats were crazy to take Rob Gronkowski because he missed his entire final year and could have spinal stenosis. Why not blast Belichick for wasting a pick on an injury prone TE who probably has a genetic condition that will end his career before it starts.
