Is Aaron Rodgers better than Tom Brady?

The argument about Rodgers has NOTHING to do with Michael Vick.

You portraying that it does is completely ridiculous.

Equating an argument over QB quality by lumping in Vick and Rodgers (your words not mine, "same argument") is delusional.

Given that my "argument" was a statement noting that people bought into the same hype last year "QB playing better than Brady", why do you continue pretending that I'm trying to equate specific arguments about Rodgers with specific arguments about Vick?

We can all have our opinions and points for both but at the end of the day, the men who ACTUALLY play against both of these gentlemen voted for NFL Network's Top 100 players in the league. I will go along with what they think. Nevermind all the stats, rings, MVP awards, records, etc. etc. etc. If Ray Lewis and Darelle Revis (and a majority of other players) say Brady is No. 1, I will agree to that.

Not to mention the level of competition he's faced. One team with a winning record. Brady has faced far better defenses and teams with offenses in better stride out of the gate playing behind a defense of his own that was struggling to put it mildly - not to mention battling teamwide injuries on both sides of the ball.

Yes but aaron rodgers carried the packers to the SB last year with massive injuries to his squad..

I got no problem saying that Rodgers was the best QB in the league last year...and he's the best QB in the league this year....GB is 5-0....why this is hard to admit for some people is beyond me...after all, we are NOT JetFan1 like Pats fans, are we? That being said, as a Patriot fan I'll go to war with TFB and let the chips fall where they may...hopefully we WILL get that chance

Don't care what anybody says Brady was the best player in football last season. Hands down.

Rodgers is playing out of his mind..Brady has a few more INT's

Wasnt everyone saying Vick was the best qb in the NFL last year, and brees the year before?

difference being, vick didn't do diddly squat in the playoffs... and while brees won a superbowl, he wasen't as impressive as aaron rodgers was via superbowl runs.

On top of that, rodgers is having a historical season thus far (while brees short of came back to earth the year afterwards).

Vick was just a media hype... he is no where near brady/rodgers

And for christ sake, whats up with all the hate on rodgers?

I mean, the kid did say BRADY IS FAR AND AWAY the best player (quarterback??) in the league

I use to think he was ok, then he started doing that stupid championship belt thing and now i want him to lose every game.

Yes, but you can't point that out because, somehow, that's saying that Vick is as good as Rodgers. /Smessy's logic train

You must have wanted garnett to lose after he did his "psycho" acts too, right?

Speaking of experience and stats: Brady > Rodgers.

Speaking of individual accomplishments: Brady 3 SB > Rodgers 1 SB

Speaking of intelligent of a QB: Brady = Rodgers

Speaking of agility and mobility of a QB: Rodgers > Brady. Brady is a pocket passer. If the pocket collapsed, he take a sack. But Rodgers will scramble and try to make a play and throw the ball on the move better than Brady does. And that is great arsenal to have.

They both share one thing in common is the coolness. Playing under pressure and maintain control in the midst chaos. As of right now, I think Rodgers playing better than Brady..but over statistics and accomplishments, Rodgers is still behind.

Rodgers is a hell of a QB. Really, really good. Brady's still better though.

this year rodgers is playing a lot better. Quicker release, deadly accuracy, better movement in the pocket. Career wise, who cares, if NE plays GB in the SB, past career won't mean anything. I fear that if my goal does happen and NE goes to the SB, GB would blow them out. This defense stops no one, and GB's can sometimes stop someone.

You can talk about our defense all day. We're a work in progress. GB's defense isn't all that neither as of now IMO. If the Pats do make it to Indy in Febuary,I want the Packers. I think we can match them (lick for lick/pound for pound). I think we could've took them out last year. We'll know how that ended for the Pats. There are a few other teams who could give them fits as well. In the NFC the Saints (who had them on their heels in their opener) & Lions could give them a run in the playoffs. The eagles (if they can some how get it together),Cowboys (Romo?) & maybe the Giants all may have a tiny shot against the champs. In the AFC the Pats,Ravens,Chargers & Bills could go head up with em.

lmao, so half the nfl league can defeat the packers.

I am sure any team can defeat any team on any given day in the playoffs (as evidenced by the saints loss to the seahawks last year).
IMO i wouldnt mind a saints/packers championship game... and ravens/patriots.

With pats/packers in the sb

Is Matt Stafford better than Aaron Rodgers AND Tom Brady?

oh sorry, he has won a game most recently, and its the nfl so I can only remember the last thing that happened.

I think thats going to happen. Only this time we will have will smith, lance moore , and tracy porter playing. Unlike the opener.
and test don't forget , we had all our RB's,TE's and way more guys on IR for that game vs seattle. We want the Packers for the NFC Championship,Packers can't beat us full health, we know that know, then we want you guys for the SB.
. Its going to happen

i dunno about that man... i mean saints can obviously beat the packers, but packers can beat you guys to.

Yeah, its been proven they can beat us. But not at our full strength. Rogers passed at a rookie CB all day, if we had porter, smith and our best 3rd down WR Moore in the game ( rem Moore was only 2nd to welker last year in reception %), I think it might have made a difference.

I keep hearing from all the sports pundits of how Rodgers is the best player in the NFL right now. He's certainly playing extremely well, but is he playing better than Brady? What do you think?

keep in mind I'm just talking about this season so far and not all time. Brady's three rings and many records speak for themselves

Too many variables are involved in the whole thing. I am just glad we have Brady. There is no QB I would rather have.

Brady and Rodgers are playing the best football of any players in the NFL. I have no problem with people interchanging them on a weekly basis for MVP. They're both simply that good right now.

The way Brady controlled the offense against the Jets on the weekend was one of the single greatest performances I've seen him put in. The numbers weren't there but what he did with the Patriots, the running game and protection was simply outstanding.
