I...

But the really hilarious part: everybody has to dress in costumes to suggest mythical figures of superhuman powers...except Brady. Just being Brady is apparently enough. :D

Great catch!

Impressive

I'm not sure why, but for some reason your links never link - and when I copied and pasted the URL you placed, it was for something that had nothing to do with football.

Anyways, here is the cover R_T26 was referring to:

Time to KO the bully.. WTF is that all about????

16-page pullout section for a divisional round playoff game?!?! A bit much, don't you think?

It's their last hurrah for the season, so why not?

Related.
Scroll away, for more play
I think I'm on a roll

May the Farce be with you.

Stay cool people, do your job.
First class dignity, grace.
But bring it.

The great Mr. Kraft, to whom we owe a debt we cannot pay:
"I don't want to speak to how other people do things or be judgmental about what motivates other people," Kraft said Thursday in an interview with The Associated Press.
"But stylistically, I think we do things a little bit different than the folks we're playing this weekend." "in the end there's a lot of little kids watching. There's a lot of people who look up to us and so I think we've got to walk on a higher plane. But what's right for some people to get motivated, I don't want to be judgmental of what's right for them. Our style is to let our actions speak louder."

What if an expletive was an appropriate description of an opponent?
"Even if it was true," he said, "it wouldn't be our style."
And, in Brady's case, Kraft said,

"I happen to feel it's untrue."

:rocker:

New York is feeling desperate. That's a funny cover however. So the Pats are stormtroopers and bb is darth vader. But who is Brady supposed to be? I guess he's scary enough, starring as himself? :)

My guess would be Anakin Skywalker

Joe Nameth as Yoda:

"Kiss you I want to"

Luke: What the hell are you talking about, are you drunk?

Rex Ryan as Han Solo:

(To Princess Leia (played by Mrs. Ryan) right before being carbon frozen)

Rex: "I love your feet"

Wife: "I know"

Does the Post not have designers on staff? If I submitted this to my boss I would be summarily fired after being asked if I was high and/or drunk when I designed this.

The Dumb & Dumber stuff is waaaay better! Let me know if you want a job. Have to move to LA and sit in a cubicle though. :O)

They messed up on a couple of areas. Belichick should be Emperor Palpatine and his image should be faded into the background. Brady should be Vader and should be more prominent in the picture. naF staP, get on it. :D

Mark Sanchez should be Jar Jar Binks

With this in mind, some applicable theme music for our team...

YouTube - Star Wars Imperial March Music Video

Belichick after 45-3: "Alert the team plane to prepare for my arrival".

Belichick to Adalius Thomas in the offseason: "I find your lack of faith disturbing".

I think it's funny how the rest of the country has convinced themselves that the Pats, who have been nothing but class and epitomized teamwork & hard work for years, are truly evil. They are always depicted as the villain when in actuality they are what a sports team should be.

With that said, I'm a big Star Wars fan and think the picture is kind of funny.

Seriously, in the society we have today, being professional, classy and good is considered evil. Instead we reward the obnoxious and the stupid.
