Good question. This thread deserves to live, but not a 5-star rating. Pats player arrested, but he's also on IR so not a real factor anyway. Not like he's gonna be hanging around the team and being a distraction.

I'm actually surprised we don't see this more often... players on IR, still getting paid but with nothing to do but rehab sounds like a formula for disaster.

Doesn't seem like a big deal to me. Yeah it looks bad but it sounds like nothing more than a guy who had a few too many drinks. He was not driving and did not assault anyone.

What makes it even sadder is the amount of support programs the NFL has to prevent this sort of thing.
