I honestly didn't think the Saints game was THAT important going in although getting blown out may have a bigger impact (could be + or -) than the run of the mill loss I though was likely.Seriously though. THIS game is way more important in the grand scheme of things. We HAVE to win in Miami.
I think you mean "intents and purposes". Anyway, I hope the players feel differently, a loss still leaves them in first place in the division by a game and 4 games (which is a lifetime in the NFL) so be playing better in January.Lose in Miami and for all intensive purposes we shall say "Better luck next season" ....A loss is not the nail in the coffin, but it certainly is the lining in one of those.
They punted home field advantage in Indy. They established in New Orleans that they are not serious contenders. As for the division, they will be in first place even if they lose. So the Miami game means little insofar as standings are concerned. They have also shown that they can beat mediocre teams, so a win in Miami is merely treading water. I will be interested to see any coaching and personnel changes.

Now that's a quality fan right there... Why don't you go buy a Brees an Manning jersey jackoff...
In no objective sense is this a "must win" for the team. Maybe to restore the self-esteem of people like yourself.
I've got my "Squish The Fish" shirt ready to wear under my jersey sunday afternoon!
It's going to be another retro jersey game, I would imagine we would be wearing the red ones, I hope the team is as good as they were the last time they wore those ones!
as it will be a road game i think we will use the unis we used @ DEN
