I definitely vote for signing TO at any price, so long as we also sign Chad Johnson also......

The mind is staggered thinking about a Moss, TO, Welker and Johnson catching passes from T. Brady..........

 :banned:

Only to a deal similar to Stallworth multi year BUT team option after the first year.

Lets face it, TO is fine his first year with a team. After that things go sour. SB or Bust in '09 and then cut his ass loose regardless of his performance

Lose-Lose proposition; TO here benefits neither side.

Owens and Rosenhaus are looking for one last big big payday.
Pats are trying to upgrade as much as they can in several areas.
Wide receiver is not an area of need.

Perfect fit would be Minnesota or Tampa Bay, or perhaps Arizona if the Cardinals should decide to trade Boldin.

WR is an area of need since we don't really have a solid option playing opposite side of Randy.

Anyway, I have hated TO since the Baltimore trade thing happened and have thought of him as a locker room cancer since. BUT, after watching one 1-1 interview last year (sorry can't remember where I saw it) TO sounded very sincere and talked about the bad media perception and picture people paint about certain players (or in our case coaches) and it sticks with them even if it's not completely true or the person has changed. I felt that he was being very sincere and I related to what happened with the Spygate with BB. We all love BB and the rest of the world thinks he's "evil". Well, maybe we should give TO a real chance.

Did anyone really expect this stupid poll to be close to anything other than the obvious to keep him the hell off the team?

Yes, must bring TO at all costs.

I know that I'm in the minority, but I wouldn't mind seeing TO here on a 1-year deal. Watching T.O. and Moss destroy defenses together would be sick.

It will never happen. I bet he ends up in Minnesota.

I'd also take T.O. for a 1 year, cheap deal but nothing more. Not neccessarily because I think he'd be a cancer here and is a huge risk worth very little, but because the money we have available needs to go into the defense. I think this team is just way too loaded with leadership to let a guy like Owens come in and rip the team apart like he's done elsewhere.

Upstater mentioned how he ruined Romo and I partially agree, but I think Brady is far more mentally tough than Romo is and would never allow something similar to occur. Then you've got the massive difference in how much control over the team the head coaches have in New England and Dallas and I think things would be very different if T.O. were a Patriot.

Oh, and FWIW (maybe very little since I don't trust his NBA reporting, let alone NFL reporting), Stephen A. Smith was just on Sportscenter about 20 minutes ago and said New England is one of the places Owens would like to play.

How can anyone in their right mind ever even IMAGINE Owens on the same team with Randy Moss? Only if T.O. is administered a lobotomy or has his vocal chords removed by a team physician.

Too bad he'll never end up with your Green Beans. You don't have a quarterback who can throw that far.

Probably by thinking of the kind of fits opposing coaches would be going into if the Patriots had a receiving corps of:

Moss
Welker
Galloway
Owens
Watson
Faulk

Seeing a lineup like that can make people overlook health and personality issues.

I'm amazed that anyone would vote for bringing in T.O. Hell, all anyone *****es about is improving the defense, but now people want T.O.? Screw him.

And there we have it folks, admission that some people have never played a down of football. I'd rather have AIDS than TO on the Patriots. Seriously.

T.O. could end up with his old buddy Billy Parcells and Sparano in Miami, would not be surprised to see this.

You're crazy. I doubt even BB can get that child to shut up and behave like a team player. If Owens comes here I'll eat my hat.

WHAT?! T.O. is a big part of the reason Tuna left Dallas. He won't end up in Miami either.

I would love to watch Noodle Arm under throw T.O. by twenty yards.

Get off the sauce - No way BB spends cap money on an old WR from Tampa and a loud mouth piece of crap like Owens

We need to spend those little cap bucks on DEFENSE

The offense as it stands right now seems pretty damn good to me with just a JAG needed as a third guy at WR- Remember Brady made no names like Patten look good

haha, I think he is the actuall reason Parcells left Dallas. I want him no where near the Pats (read sig for reasoning)

For real? What's the cap # for AIDS?

Parcells is no longer head coach and he is most likely leaving next year as he does not stay long anywhere anymore - I think he wants to win and win fast and if he thinks T.O. is the missing piece to a championship in Miami,he will get him
