At what positions could we NOT use an upgrade?

Ballboy. The one we have is outstanding and I'm prepared to debate

No debate here. I defer to your expertise in the matter of how the Patriots' balls are cared for.

My point is that with a significant chance of Seymour being gone in a year, drafting a potential replacement is not necessarily silly.

Ahhh, ok. I'd agree with that.

Most teams don't have the majority of their starters signed 2 years out. Its too risky to have everyone on the team signed long term.

Well said. :p

While I wouldn't think so, he only signed a one year deal last year. I had expected him to sign a 3-5 year deal.

My bad. But do you seriously think he's a danger to leave?

Honestly, I would like to see a tight end that can catch the ball.

While I don't hate Ben Watson, I think we can all agree that he is not the player we all hoped/expected he would be. Too many drops and when he does catch the ball...too many fumbles.

We don't need a great guy at the position but if we had a core of serviceable tight ends like in 2004 when the roster included Cristian Fauria, Daniel Graham, and Ben Watson. I know that Graham had his "drop" problems two, but as a collective unit these guys were good.

The position that we absolutely need no upgrade: KICKER
