Good morning, here are Sunday’s Patriots news 9-25, and AFC East Notes for this week.

The Seahawks will have to travel across three time zones to play an early game, and that is never an easy task. While the Jet defense may not have shown much in the first two games, they have the talent to shut down a Seattle offense that has stumbled thus far with a completely revamped offensive line still searching for effective synergy.

In this episode, we discussed the victory for the Pats against the Dolphins, and also previewed the upcoming game against the Texans. During the show, we also discussed the play of Jimmy Garoppolo and his injury during the last game.

Media members were referencing ESPN’s Ed Werder’s piece that the Patriots were holding out hope that Jimmy G. may still be available to play this week during Tuesday’s presser with Bill Belichick.

I was expecting to find a profusion of talk about how ineffective Miami was on both sides of the ball in the first half. Instead the focus of many discussions was on the Dolphin comeback. The fact that the Patriots were trying to run out the clock with a rookie third string quarterback was glossed over. Only one article brought up the fact that Miami was unable to defeat a Patriot club playing without five key starters.

It was essentially a tale of two halves as they totally dominated the opening thirty minutes and were holding on in the end for the victory.

The Patriots needed a Duron Harmon interception in the end zone with two seconds left to preserve a 31-24 win on Sunday at Gillette Stadium.
