We can all agree that BB's success at drafting WRs in Rounds 2-6 (or 1-6, if you like, since he could have drafted WRs in the first round if he chose to), has not been good, Deion Branch notwithstanding. Still, I'm impressed by the overall effort. For example, if LaFell has to be PUPed, the opening day set of WRs might be:
1. Edelman, a 7th-round QB conversion.
2. Amendola, one of the more competitive WR FA signings of his year.
3. Wayne, a late August FA pickup.
4. Dobson, a 2nd-rounder struggling to make his mark.
5. Harper, a UDFA.
Gotta give them high marks for at least trying.
I'd add the aggressive investment at TE into the mix as well, but I understand if others want to more strictly separate the positions in their minds.
