Which team scares you the most, if any?

Jeez, guys, have some faith. Did you all pick Miami to win? While this game worries me, I am looking forward to whether the Pats can successfully reinstate the "dink and dunk and 8 minute drive" game plans that made us famous in 2001, 2003 and 2004. We'll have had 2 weeks to prepare for this one when the coaching staff knew Moss wasn't going to be here, and our D and special teams have started to make some plays. I say we squeak out a win in this one. Who's with me?

Reinstate? We led the league in time of possession last season.

Ravens and Steelers. They play football. Everyone else plays catch and tag by comparison.

Chargers and Indy are dangerous games on the schedule, because of our soft pass defense, but I wouldn't be scared by either come January. The secondary will tighten up, and the pressure coaching decisions will be in our favor.

While the Ravens definitely worry me, their secondary is very very weak. People keep remembering last years playoff game, but they forget that really, our major dink and dunk receiver, Welker was out. All year Brady had relied on him as his main, short option. With him gone, and the early score the Ravens had it was all over. They pinned their ears back and came after Brady.

Contain the running game, on D, and use the short passes to the tight ends and Welker, hopefully it will be a different outcome this time.

The Patriots. The Patriots scare the bejeez outta me. After the Miami game, I started recalling great memories of a disiplined, opportunistic team that bought into the coaching and collectively were better than the sum of their parts.

I am scared as hell that was an aberration. The rest of the league better be scared if it wasn't.

The only team that scares me is the Pats themselves. I believe they are capable of beating anyone in the league.....including themselves. They are young and improving and hopefully the D can pull it together mentally.

I'm with you. The ravens beat a shadow of us in that playoff game. We were all banged up, no welker, etc. The ravens have only beat us once in NFL history, this is a team we have owned for the most part. Brady will have a good game and take this to town. I think those TEs are gonna give ravens problems. They will stop the run but not the pass.

Still not sold on Flacco either, he's too inconsistent in my eyes. Our defense is young but we are beggining to click and play decent together. We ARE the New England patriots, we have to remember that lol

Crazy season so far. But, there are 3 very good defenses in the AFC. Pittsburgh , Baltimore and NY Jets. Pitt has the most accomplished qb. So, I'll give them the top spot for now. But, Sanchez and Flacco have some talent and receivers. Sooner or later, your qb has to win a game or two for you to win a championship. To answer the question. I'll say Pittsburgh.

So what are you worried about? Did we not see a flash of the old plodding O that got us everywhere in years past, in Miami? No long balls, just slow and steady down the field, mixing in pass and rush. We stalled in the red zone in the 1st half (which we can't allow to continue), but had a nice long drive, which kept our D off the field, in the 2nd half. Defense and special teams did the rest, which won't always happen, but I liked what I saw.

Not one team scares me at the moment. Of course my opinion could change as the season continues, but for now the season is wide open for the taking.

Pittsburgh. That D is on a whole different level with Polamalu back, and its scary how close they were to 4-0 with Dixon and Batch playing QB, now with the Rapist, it gives that offense options it might not have had the first 4 weeks (and Rashard Mendenhall owners in FFL like me very happy to have more space to run.)

The Steelers and Ravens are on everybody's list. The Tennessee Titans are going along nicely and are very dangerous and have been my fancy to win their division all along. Obviously the Jets look good too.

In the NFC I really like the look of the Falcons. The Vikings have to be watched closely over the next while, they certainly have a championship D and if Favre and Moss click then this could be their year.

The Saints have a superbowl hangover just like the Steelers last year. I just can't help but think that this loss will shake them out of it, if it doesn't they are going nowhere this year obviously but I just think that team is too talented not to be heavily involved in the postseason.

Still if you put a gun to my head I'd have to pick the Steelers right now.

bump.....just the Giants now I can't wait for the Jets rematch though should be a tight game.

How many QB's have teh Giants taken out this year? After our OL play against SD one might want to add NYG to the list.

Romo is the fifth...in seven games

To be fair I believe that 4 were against bad lines in the Lions, Cowboys and two against the Bears. Who was the other one?

Didn't they knock out Moore in the first game?

It's not the frequency of the hits that is the problem, it's the violence of the hits.
