Florida is divided in to three television markets by NFL standards: Miami, Tampa Bay, and Jacksonville. I'm not going to get in to a debate about the Orlando market and what games they get to see; this is about what games Pats fans can expect to see on national TV in Florida.

Week 1: Bills at Pats, 7 pm MNF on espn
Doubleheader: fox
This game is on espn on Monday night, so unless your TV is still getting its signal from rabbit ears or a rooftop antenna, you'll get to see this game.

Week 2: Pats at Jets, 1 pm on cbs
Doubleheader: cbs
Dolphins are on MNF; Miami should get the Pats game.
Jags are home on fox at 1; Jacksonville is shut out.
Bucs are away at 4 on fox; Tampa Bay should get the Pats game.
Other 1 pm cbs games: Hou-Ten; Oak-KC; Cin-GB

Week 3: Falcons at Pats, 1 pm on fox
Doubleheader: cbs
Dolphins are at SD at 4 on cbs; Miami may get Pats, or NYG-TB
Jags are at Houston at 1 on cbs; Jax may get Pats, or Ten-NYJ
Bucs are home vs NYG at 1 on fox; Tampa Bay is shut out.
Other 1 pm fox games: Was-Det; GB-StL; SF-Min; NYG-TB
Other 1 pm cbs games: KC-Phi; Ten-NYJ; Jax-Hou; Cle-Bal

Week 4: Ravens at Pats, 1 pm on cbs
Doubleheader: fox
Fins home vs Bills at 4 on cbs; Miami shut out due to dh
Jags home vs Titans at 1 on cbs; Jax shut out
Bucs at Washington at 1 on fox; TB may get Pats or Ten-Jax
Other 1 pm cbs games: Ten-Jax; Oak-Hou; Cin-Cle

Week 5: Pats at Broncos, 4 pm on cbs
Doubleheader: cbs
Fins home vs Jets on MNF; Miami gets either the Pats or the Jags game
Bucs at Eagles at 1 on fox; TB gets either the Pats or Jags game
Jags at Seahawks at 4 on cbs; Jax shut out
Other 4 pm cbs games: Hou-Ari and Jax-Sea

Week 6: Titans at Pats, 4 pm on cbs
Doubleheader: cbs
Fins: bye
Bucs home vs Panthers at 1 on fox
Jags home vs Rams at 1 on fox
Other 4 pm cbs games: Bills at Jets
There's a 50-50 chance of the Pats being on in each of these three markets this week; it's either Titans-Pats or Bills-Jets.

Week 7: Pats-Bucs in London, 1 pm on cbs
Doubleheader: fox
Fins: home vs Saints at 4 on fox; Pats probably on in Miami
Bucs: playing the Pats
Jags: bye; either Pats or Indy game on in Jacksonville
1 pm on cbs: SD-KC, Ind-StL, Pats-Bucs
1 pm on fox: Chi-Cin; GB-Cle; SF-Hou; Min-Pit

Week 8: bye week for the Pats
Doubleheader: fox
Fins: at Jets at 1 on cbs
Bucs: bye
Jags: at Ten at 4 on cbs

Week 9: Dolphins at Pats, 1 pm on cbs
Doubleheader: cbs
Fins at Pats at 1 for Miami
Bucs home vs GB on fox; no Pats in TB
Jags home vs KC on cbs; no Pats in Jax

Week 10: Pats at Colts, MNF on cbs
Doubleheader: fox
Tampa Bay at Miami, 1 pm on fox
Jags at Giants, 1 pm on cbs

Week 11: Jets at Pats, 4 pm on cbs
Doubleheader: cbs
Fins at Panthers Thursday night on nfln; Miami should get the Pats
Bucs home vs Saints, 1 pm on fox; Tampa Bay should get the Pats
Jags home vs Bills, 1 pm on cbs; Jax should get the Pats
Other 4 pm cbs games: SD-Den and Cin-Oak

Week 12: Pats at Saints, MNF on espn
Doubleheader: cbs
Fins at Bills, 1 pm on cbs
Bucs at Falcons, 1 pm on fox
Jags at 49ers, 4 pm on cbs

Week 13: Pats at Dolphins, SNF on nbc
Doubleheader: fox
Bucs at Panthers, 1 pm on fox
Jags home vs Texans, 1 pm on cbs

Week 14: Panthers at Pats, 1 pm on fox
Doubleheader: cbs
Dolphins at Jaguars, 1 pm on cbs; no Pats in Jacksonville
Jets at Bucs, 1 pm on cbs; no Pats in Tampa Bay
Since the Jags and Bucs are both at home, they both get to be the sole game on tv and shut the Pats out. The only way the Pats get on TV in either market is if they don't sell out. Since cbs gets the doubleheader, they'll probably put the Pats on in Miami.
Miami might also he Pats on cbs; other 1 pm cbs games are Den-Ind, Buf-KC, NYJ-TB and Cin-Min.

Week 15: Pats at Bills, 1 pm on cbs
Doubleheader: fox
Fins at Titans at 1 pm on cbs; no Pats in Miami
Bucs at Seahawks at 4 pm on fox; either Pats or Miami at 1
Jags home vs Colts Thursday night on nfln; either Pats or Miami at 1
Other 1 pm cbs games: Cle-KC; Hou-StL; Mia-Tn
Other 1 pm fox games: Chi-Bal; Ari-Det; Atl-NYJ; SF-Phi; GB-Pit

Week 16: Jaguars at Pats, 1 pm on cbs
Doubleheader on cbs
Fins home vs Titans at 1 pm on cbs; no Pats in Miami
Bucs at Saints at 1 pm on fox; possible Pats are on in Tampa Bay
Other 1 pm games on cbs: Buf-Atl; KC-Cin; Oak-Cle; Hou-Mia; Den-Phi; Bal-Pit

Week 17: Pats at Texans, 1 pm on cbs
Doubleheader on both networks
Fins home vs Steelers at 1 pm on cbs; no Pats in Miami
Bucs home vs Falcons at 1 pm on fox
Jags at Browns at 1 pm on cbs; no Pats in Jacksonville
One of the other Florida games is most likely going to be played in Tampa Bay rather than the Pats game

Miami TV market: (5) definites, (3) probables, (4) maybes and (4) no-ways. Most of the games that are definite no's in the Miami market are at the end of the schedule in December, but keep in mind flex scheduling could change that.

Tampa Bay TV market: (5) definites, (2) probables, (6) maybes and (3) no-ways.

Jacksonville TV market: (5) definites, (2) probables, (3) maybes and (6) no-ways.

Updated - What Games Florida Pats Fans Can Expect To See on TV

Given the (lack of) success for some of the Florida-based NFL teams to sell tickets, I thought this list of televised games should be updated.

Keep in mind that there are two blackout rules regarding NFL broadcasts. The first one most everybody is familiar with: if a game does not sell out 72 hours before kickoff, it is blacked out within 75 miles of that stadium.

The other rule is in regards to when a team does sell out a home game. When that happens, there can be no other game televised in the team's home market at the same time. The idea is to prevent people who already have a ticket from staying home to watch another game. For example, in week one there is no early game on FOX in Indy, Houston, or Atlanta because those teams are on at 1:00 on CBS in their markets. This rule comes in to play several times a year in each Florida market, mostly because they and the Pats all play in the same time zone.

There are a couple of exceptions to this rule. CBS gets an exemption in week one when they broadcast tennis' US Open and have no late games, and FOX gets a similar exemption midseason when they broadcast baseball playoff games. As a result the Dolphins-Falcons game is shown in the Tampa Bay market even though the Bucs are home, permitting CBS to have at least one game on television in that area that day.

Week 1: Bills at Pats, 7 pm MNF on espn
Doubleheader: fox; TNF: Ten-Pit; SNF: Chi-GB; MNF: Buf-Pats; MNF: SD-Oak
Miami: Mia at Atl, 1 on cbs; Dal at TB, 1 on fox; Was at NYG, 4 on fox
Jax: Jax at Indy, 1 on cbs; Dal at TB, 1 on fox; Was at NYG, 4 on fox
TB: Dal at TB, 1 on fox; Mia at Atl, 1 on cbs; Was at NYG, 4 on fox
The Pats game is on espn Monday night, so everybody gets to see this one.

Week 2: Pats at Jets, 1 pm on cbs
Doubleheader: cbs; SNF: NYG-Dal; MNF: Ind-Mia
Miami: The Dolphins are on MNF, so when they play is not an issue. Florida is full of transplants from the northeast, plus it is two division rivals so the Pats game is sure to be on. Then it's probably Pit-Chi for the late game in all three markets; no idea what fox will show.
Jax: If the Jags sold out there would be no Pats game in the Jax area, but it does not look like that will be the case. However, my guess is they go with the division game of Hou-Ten instead of the Pats-Jets game.
TB: Bucs are away at 4 on fox, leaving the Pats-Jets as the best option due to all those Florida transplants.
1 pm cbs games: Pats-Jets; Hou-Ten; Oak-KC; Cin-GB
1 pm fox games: Car-Atl; NO-Phil; Minn-Det; Ariz-Jax; StL-Wash
4 pm cbs games: Pitt-Chic; Cle-Den; Balt-SD
4 pm fox games: TB-Buff; Sea-SF

Week 3: Falcons at Pats, 1 pm on fox
Doubleheader: cbs; SNF: Ind-Ari; MNF: Car-Dal
Miami: Dolphins are at SD at 4 on cbs, so the early cbs game will probably be Ten-Jets. Fox has a tossup between the Giants-Bucs, Falcons-Pats, or 49ers-Favre.
Jax: Jags-Hou at 1 and then Mia-SD or Pit-Cin at 4 on cbs; fox choices are same as above.
TB: Bucs are home vs NYG at 1 on fox; a sellout means no Pats game on tv here. I'm guessing the game will sellout because whatever tickets are left over will be bought by Giants fans that have moved from New York. That would leave either Mia-SD or Pit-Cin at 4 as the only other game on tv.
1 pm cbs games: Ten-NYJ, Jax-Hou; Cle-Bal; KC-Phi
1 pm fox games: Atl-Pats; Was-Det; GB-StL; SF-Min; NYG-TB
4 pm cbs games: Mia-SD; Pit-Cin; Den-Oak
4 pm fox games: Chi-Sea; NO-Buf

Week 4: Ravens at Pats, 1 pm on cbs
Doubleheader: fox; SNF: SD-Pit; MNF: GB-Min
Miami: Fins are home vs Bills at 4 on cbs, so that eliminates the Pats game due to fox having the doubleheader. I'm guessing fox has Sea-Ind for the rare chance to show Manning, and Dal-Den.
Jax: If the game was a sellout then no Pats game on tv at the same time, but it doesn't look like the Jags will sell out. I'll guess cbs goes with the Pats game though they could choose the 4 pm Miami game as well; fox probably goes with the Colts game and Dallas game also.
TB: fox will show the Bucs at Washington at 1 and then the Dallas game at 4; cbs could go for the Pats game early or Dolphins game later in order to avoid going head-to-head with the local team.
1 pm cbs games: Bal-Pats; Ten-Jax; Oak-Hou; Cin-Cle
1 pm fox games: TB-Was; NYG-KC; Det-Chi; Sea-Ind
4 pm cbs games: NYJ-NO; Buf-Mia
4 pm fox games: Dal-Den; StL-SF

Week 5: Pats at Broncos, 4 pm on cbs
Doubleheader: cbs; SNF: Ind-Ten; MNF: NYJ-Mia
Mia: with the Fins home vs Jets on MNF Miami probably gets the Pats game from among the three late games on cbs. No idea on the two other games.
Jax: Jags are at Seahawks at 4 on cbs, eliminating the chance for teh Pats game to be on.
TB: Bucs at Eagles at 1 on fox; tossup as to whether the Pats will or won't be the late cbs game.
1 pm cbs games: Oak-NYG; Pit-Det; Cle-Buf; Cin-Bal
1 pm fox games: TB-Phi; Was-Car; Dal-KC; Min-StL
4 pm cbs games: Pats-Den; Hou-Ari and Jax-Sea
4 pm fox game: Atl-SF

Week 6: Titans at Pats, 4 pm on cbs
Doubleheader: cbs; SNF: Chi-Atl; MNF: Den-SD
Mia: Fins have a bye. Probably Bal-Min and Pats-Ten on cbs, and NYG-NO on fox.
Jax: Jags home vs Rams at 1 on fox. Safe to assume it won't be sold out, leaving the tv games the same as Miami's.
TB: Panthers at Bucs at 1 on fox; that should be the only difference from the schedule above.
1 pm cbs games: Bal-Min; Cle-Pit; Hou-Cin; KC-Was
1 pm fox games: Car-TB; NYG-NO; Det-GB; StL-Jax
4 pm cbs games: Ten-Pats; Buf-NYJ
4 pm fox games: Phi-Oak; Ari-Sea

Updated - What Games Florida Pats Fans Can Expect To See on TV

Week 7: Pats-Bucs in London, 1 pm on cbs
Doubleheader: fox; SNF: Ari-NYG; MNF: Phi-Was
Mia: fox probably goes with Min-Pit and NO-Mia while cbs shows the Pats
Jax: Jags have a bye; probably the same schedule as above although they could go for a division game (Indy or Houston) instead.
TB: Pats game is on as they are playing the Bucs; fox goes with Min-Pit and NO-Mia.
1 pm on cbs: Pats-Bucs; SD-KC; Ind-StL
1 pm on fox: Min-Pit; Chi-Cin; GB-Cle; SF-Hou
4 pm on cbs: NYJ-Oak; Buf-Car
4 pm on fox: NO-Mia; Atl-Dal

Week 8: bye week for the Pats
Doubleheader: fox; SNF: none; MNF: Atl-NO
Mia: Fins at Jets at 1 on cbs. My guess is Min-GB gets moved to a late game; that would allow for SF-Ind or Sea-Dal followed by Min-GB.
Jags: at Ten at 4 on cbs; see above for the fox schedule.
TB: bye; probably same schedule as Miami's.
1 pm on cbs: Mia-NYJ; Den-Bal; Hou-Buf; Cle-Chi
1 pm on fox: Min-GB; SF-Ind; Sea-Dal; StL-Det
4 pm on cbs: Jax-Ten; Oak-SD
4 pm on fox: NYG-Phi; Car-Ari

Week 9: Dolphins at Pats, 1 pm on cbs
Doubleheader: cbs; SNF: Dal-Phi; MNF: Pit-Den
Mia: Fins at Pats at 1 on cbs. At 4 it's probably SD-NYG on cbs and Car-NO on fox.
Jax: Jags home vs KC on cbs; Pats game on TV in Jax area only if game does not sellout - which it probably won't. 4:00 games probably same as Miami's.
TB: Bucs are home vs GB on fox; therefore no Pats game in Tampa Bay. The late game will probably be SD-NYG on cbs.
1 pm on cbs: Mia-Pats; Hou-Ind; Bal-Cin; KC-Jax
1 pm on fox: GB-TB; Was-Atl; Ari-Chi
4 pm on cbs: SD-NYG; Ten-SF
4 pm on fox: Car-NO; Det-Sea

Week 10: Pats at Colts, SNF on cbs
Doubleheader: fox; TNF: Chi-SF; SNF: NE-Ind; MNF: Bal-Cle
Everybody gets to see the Pats since they are on Sunday night, but here's what else will probably be on.
Mia: Bucs at Miami at 1 on fox; Dal-GB (or Phi-SD) at 4 on fox; KC-Oak at 4 on cbs
Jax: Jags at Jets at 1 on cbs; Atl-Car at 1 on fox; Dal-GB at 4 on fox
TB: Bucs at Miami at 1 on fox; Dal-GB at 4 on fox; unsure on the cbs game
1 pm on cbs: Jax-NYJ; Cin-Pit; Buf-Ten; Den-Was
1 pm on fox: TB-Mia; Atl-Car; NO-StL; Det-Min
4 pm on cbs: KC-Oak
4 pm on fox: Dal-GB; Phi-SD; Sea-Ari

Week 11: Jets at Pats, 4 pm on cbs
Doubleheader: cbs; TNF: Mia-Car; SNF: Phi-Chi; MNF: Ten-Hou
Mia: Fins are on Thursday night. Probably Ind-Bal, NYJ-Pats, and Atl-NYG
Jax: Home vs Bills at 1, but will most likely be blacked out; same schedule as Miami's.
TB: Home vs Saints at 1. If sold out probable games are TB-NO at 1 and Pats at 4; if not sold out then same schedule as Miami's.
1 pm on cbs: Ind-Bal; Buf-Jax; Pit-KC
1 pm on fox: NO-TB; Atl-NYG; Was-Dal; Sea-Min; SF-GB
4 pm on cbs: NYJ-Pats; SD-Den; Cin-Oak
4 pm on fox: Ari-StL

Week 12: Pats at Saints, MNF on espn
Doubleheader: fox; T-day: GB-Det, Oak-Dal, NYG-Den; SNF: Pit-Bal; MNF: Pats-NO
Everyone gets to see the Pats again as they are on Monday Night Football
Mia: Fins at Bills, 1 pm on cbs; guessing also Was-Phi and Chi-Min
Jax: Jags at 49ers, 4 pm on cbs; same as above
Bucs at Falcons, 1 pm on fox; guessing Chi-Min at 4 on fox. Tough to say if cbs would go for either Manning or the Dolphins at 1, head-to-head against the Bucs, or KC-SD at 4.
1 pm on cbs: Mia-Buf; Ind-Hou; Cle-Cin
1 pm on fox: TB-Atl; Was-Phi; Car-NYJ; Chi-Min; Ari-Ten; Sea-StL
4 pm on cbs: Jax-SF; KC-SD
4 pm on fox: none listed yet, I guess they'll move Chi-Min or Ari-Ten

Updated - What Games Florida Pats Fans Can Expect To See on TV

Week 13: Pats at Dolphins, SNF on nbc
Doubleheader: fox; TNF: NYJ-Buf; SNF: Pats at Dolphins; MNF: Bal-GB
For the second time in six days the Pats are on at night, meaning everybody gets to see them play.
Mia: home vs Pats Sunday night; I'll guess Ten-Ind, Phi-Atl and Dal-NYG
Jax: home vs Texans at 1 on cbs; I'll guess it doesn't sell out and the schedule is the same as Miami's.
TB: Bucs at Panthers, 1 pm on fox; I'll guess SD-Cle and Dal-NYG.
1 pm on cbs: Ten-Ind; Hou-Jax; Den-KC; Oak-Pit
1 pm on fox: TB-Car; Phi-Atl; NO-Was; Det-Cin; StL-Chi
4 pm on cbs: SD-Cle
4 pm on fox: Dal-NYG; Min-Ari; SF-Sea

Week 14: Panthers at Pats, 1 pm on fox
Doubleheader: cbs; TNF: Pit-Cle; SNF: Phi-NYG; MNF: Ari-SF
Dolphins at Jaguars, 1 pm on cbs
Mia: Fins-Jags, SD-Dal; Was-Oak
Jax: same as above, though home game may be blacked out
Jets at Bucs, 1 pm on cbs; no Pats in Tampa Bay unless the Bucs don't sell out. Even if they don't cbs might show the Mia-Jax game rather than the Pats game.
1 pm on cbs: NYJ-TB; Mia-Jax; Den-Ind; Buf-KC; Cin-Min
1 pm on fox: Car-Pats; GB-Chi; NO-Atl; Sea-Hou; Det-Bal; StL-Ten
4 pm on cbs: SD-Dal is all for right now
4 pm on fox: Was-Oak is all for right now

Week 15: Pats at Bills, 1 pm on cbs
Doubleheader: fox; TNF: Ind-Jax; Sat: Dal-NO; SNF: Min-Car; MNF: NYG-Was
Mia: Fins at Titans at 1 pm on cbs means there will be no Pats on tv in Miami.
Jax: play the Colts Thursday night: either the Pats or Dolphins will be the early game on cbs.
TB: Bucs at Seahawks at 4 pm on fox; again either Pats or Miami will be the early game.
1 pm on cbs: Pats-Buf; Mia-Ten; Cle-KC; Hou-StL
1 pm on fox: Chi-Bal; SF-Phi; Atl-NYJ; Ari-Det; GB-Pit will surely be moved up to a later time.
4 pm on cbs: Oak-Den; Cin-SD
4 pm on fox: TB-Sea

Week 16: Jaguars at Pats, 1 pm on cbs
Doubleheader on cbs; Fri: SD-Ten; SNF: Dal-Was; MNF: Min-Chi
Mia: Fins home vs Titans at 1 (so no Pats game on tv in Miami)
Jax: playing the Pats on the road, so the game is on tv.
TB: Bucs at Saints at 1 pm on fox; possible Pats are on in Tampa Bay
1 pm on cbs: Jax-Pats; Ten-Mia; Buf-Atl; KC-Cin; Oak-Cle; Hou-Mia; Den-Phi; Bal-Pit
1 pm on fox: TB-NO; Car-NYG; Sea-GB
4 pm on cbs: NYJ-Ind
4 pm on fox: Det-SF; StL-Ari

Week 17: Pats at Texans, 1 pm on cbs
Doubleheader on both networks; no SNF or MNF
Mia: Fins home vs Steelers at 1 pm on cbs; no Pats on tv in Miami
Jax: Jags at Browns at 1 pm on cbs; no Pats on tv in Jacksonville
TB: Bucs home vs Falcons at 1 pm on cbs (only if sold out.)
1 pm on cbs: Pats-Hou; Pit-Mia; Jax-Cle; Ind-Buf
1 pm on fox: Atl-TB; Phi-Dal; NO-Car; NYG-Min; Chi-Det; Phi-Dal; SF-StL
4 pm on cbs: KC-Den; Ten-Sea; Bal-Oak
4 pm on fox: GB-Ari; Was-SD

Obviously in the last half of the year the starting time of many games will be changed, which will alter what games out of town fans do and do not get to see. This will not only affect the Sunday night games starting in week 11, but also the 4:00 games throughout the season - probably from about week 8 on. Regardless, this should give you an idea of what games you will be able to watch at home if you don't have Sunday ticket or a SlingBox.
