Another really good athlete. His top athletic comp from RAS was Marlon Humphrey.

(He's not gong to be Marlon Humphrey.)

The BB tradition is back! Yaaa...ay....

This was the first questioned pick in this draft in terms of value. That pick last year was Craig Woodson. I would be ok with a repeat of that.
Woodson was our first 4th round pick. Some of us suggested tradung into the mid-4th to attempt to get a repeat.

It seems early for special teamers and guys that coaches picked our of high school. (especially when he was rated too low to even be rated).

One of the draft podcasts I listen to (might've been NFL Stock Exchange with Trevor Sikkema and Conor Rogers) talked about him a few weeks ago as a potential FS in NFL

I guess we need to prepare us for the stories about the other teams that were about to pick him.

Of course.

That being said, I was very glad that we signed Crownover. For me, his being picked plus getting the 2027 draft pick more than completed my draft expectations

And Obiozer seems to have a chance as a backup inside and a STer.

I have no more expectations of Prunty than for the 7th rounders and UDFA's that we will sign. I guess it's OK to take some time off and draft someone who many had so low that there was no grade. But, after the pick, the staff got back to work.

Belichick would draft a guy in the second round that people didn't have going before the sixth round.

We are talking a pick here at the end of the fifth round. And I have heard people saying that the quality of prospects in this draft is that after the fourth round or so you are basically drafting practice squad quality players and you are just drafting them so they cannot sign with someone else as an undrafted free agent.
