Oh my god this is hilarious! This is how everything should've been decided.

This is amusing; however, while it is intended to be comic satire, Rapaport's presentation of the case is in fact as substantive as the NFL's in reality. Furthermore, it is demonstrative as to the fact that the Giants, in fact, have the worst fans in football. It is partially due to the undeserved reverence that the Giants franchise has always received that I have always detested them, however it is important to note that the degree to which I despise the Giants, Broncos and Redskins, for example, has not increased one iota in this century.

Post-WWII, Green Bay was the Siberia of the NFL. In those days when clubs had total control over players, if one ever stepped out of line all you needed to do was sit him down and say, "Look, if you don't shape up, we're trading you to Green Bay." All this was completely changed overnight and became a dynasty for one reason: Lombardi was NEVER going to coach his hometown Giants due to his Italian extraction. Yep, total racism and bigotry. Then, when I simply wanted to root for my hometown, downtrodden Patriots growing up, the Boston market was force-fed irrelevant, stupid Giants games by the networks whenever possible. In December 2007, the Giants solemnly mourned recently deceased Sean Taylor when they hosted the Redskins, however then chose to dress in black for the Patriots' "funeral" when they arrived in Arizona for the Super Bowl, before the last game of the Patriots' season dedicated to Marquise Hill, who saved a young woman's life before losing his. I do not remember hearing anybody talking about any representative of the Giants or NFL approaching Mrs. Hill and saying, "I'm sorry, Ma'am, that was despicable and disgraceful, and I'd like to apologize on their behalf." Giants fans universally concur with obviously false allegations that Belichick cheats, yet do not consider their two stupid championships in '86 and '90 tainted in any way.

Man, Simmons' show is a freaking train wreck.
It is really not good. And I like Simmons...though I appreciate that my opinion is somewhat colored by enjoying his pro-Patriot bias.

There were a couple humorous moments in the "trial", and his interview segments have very occasionally had moments that came close to being interesting or illuminating, but all things considered I don't think I would recommend it to anyone as "good" or "watchable".

i guess i must have low standards. i thought it was pretty funny and rapaport was a good sport. i've always kinda liked him.
Rapaport is a good actor, too bad he (and Bill Maher) are infected with Giants disease.

Simmons is as bad on TV as he was once good in print.
