I want both Wilfork and Kelly back next season but obviously they will need to take a pay cut.

Our DL would be pretty solid with those guys back and adding Armstead and Vellano, Jones and Silgia. We just need to upgrade our LDE because Ninko ain't getting it done.

I think Wilfork will be on the roster at fair market value or a reasonable home team discount to same, whatever that value is.

There are at least two paths to getting there:

1. Find a way to carry his cap hit through August, then renegotiate when it's clear what shape he's in.

2. "Immediately" -- i.e. by the start of free agency -- renegotiate a deal that has a low guarantee but enormous incentives.

(Actually, some of Vince's incentives will surely be anti-enormous -- i.e., weight limits.

I want Kelly back. He seemed like he had a lot left in the tank this year until the injury. He's a beast and was driving two o linemen back in his middle push.

I want him back as much as I want Vince back, other than sentimental reasons.

You can't be talking about Wilfork. He was NOT playing well this year before his season-ending injury. It is possible that this was the result of a previous injury.

they wont find a better DT then Kelly for 2.5 million, I think they should keep Kelly and try to bring Wilfork cap number down to 4.5 million that's 7 million for over 700lbs of pro bowl DT's

now that I am over the loss to Denver I see that this team needs more continuity on defense if they want to become a top defense that can win a SB without Brady having to pass for over 300 yards and 4 TD's every game, they need to re-sign Aqib Talib and bring back both Kelly and Wilfork with Siliga and Chris Jones backing them up and mayo coming back they should be a really good run defense and have much more pass rush up the middle

the have to keep kelly IMO. Not much out there i like and he was good before injury.
