Hopefully Pats make Super Bowl (obviously) but the pub the 2 weeks before for the current team can't hurt a former player.

I agree, he wont make it. He was a great linebacker for the Pats, but, IMO, not HOF material. Patriots Hall of Fame, maybe, but not Canton.

I don't know NEM, he was regarded as the second best linebacker in the league back then. If LT wasn't around and Andre was a more vocal guy he would have been considered the best. THat's HOF to me.

And if Irvin makes it and Tip doesn't........

Do you know anything about football history ? Tippett was one of the most dominating LB's of his time, and in the top 20 as far as all time sacks. The fact that he ISN'T in the NFL Hall of Fame is a complete injustice. The fact that he played with some horrible Patriot teams hurt his chances.

I would mind any of those guys making the hall except, Michael Irvin. Overrated gas bag.
