I haven't heard much about him.
Is he worth a 3rd round pick if still available?

3rd-4th is about right..his size really hurts him and hes not overally athletic like Timmons-Beason. Hes a big hitter..smart player and he'll get a chance somewhere to start

I rather draft Abbate over Blades, but think of the possibilities of Blades playing at the Razor !!

i'd take a chance on him just for the edge factor alone! hahaha

oh btw Blades is not 6"0 .. hes 5"10 3/4 which turns to 5"11

As sharp as he has looked at times, his height really blunts a lot of his effectiveness, IMHO. (Sorry- embarrassed icon).

I've heard he's not the sharpest tool in the shed. Not really, don't know much about him.
