The Illogical thinkings of Fish Fans.

When blogging with a Fin Fan one must alway remember: circular reasoning and irrational thought are what keeps their hopes alive and how they can continue to talk smack from the basement of the one of the weakest divisions in football. When dealing with a fin fan one will usually encounter thoughts such as these:

-"Your team was bad for sooooo long while the Fins were awesome! Losers!"
True the Patriots franchise has had it's dark days in the 70's and 80's. But in the 90's, the team was purchased by Bob Kraft, who got the team heading in the right direction and the rest as the say is history. Now it looks like the Fins are going to be bad for soooooo long while the Patriots are awesome. Ironic isn't it? Also, be sure to remind them who won that game in Miami to go to Super Bowl XX.

-"Your team was only good for a few years and is on the decline again. Soon you'll be sitting back at the bottom where you belong."
Oh? I see a team that has been in playoff contention for five straight years, going on six. A team that has won 3 of the last 5 Super Bowls, has made the Super Bowl 4 times in 10 years (a full two more times than anyone else), and the last time we didn't make playoffs, we where in a three way tie for first. The fish finished behind us by the way. Remember, this arguement is coming from a fan whose team hasn't been in the playoffs in 4 years.

-"You keep talking about your Super Bowl wins like they are relevant. Well they aren't. That was a couple years ago and...you guys suck."
Remember! These are the same fans who while saying recent history is not relevant, the fact that they went undefeated against teams that weren't even above .500 30 years ago means that their team is better than yours is now.

-"Everyone knows that there are no real Patriot "fans." Just bandwagoners that only cheer for the team when they win."
Kindly remind said fin "fan" that Patriot stadiums have been sold out for every home game since 1996. Ask said "fan" if they can do the same at their place, or if everyones all decided to watch the Bucs and the Jags instead by now. Also remind that "fan" that in a recent poll, it was the discovered that Patriot fans rank in at 15th out of 32.

-"Patriots suck!"
Patriots currently lead the division and the fish are sitting at the bottom, where they are probably not going to win another game and finish the 2006 season a terrible 1-15.

Remember. This is not a laundry list of the stupidity that Fish-heads will send your way, but this will get you started when dealing with trolls and uninformed morons:bricks: that just don't have a clue.

Don't worry Doofin fans, you all have the game next week against the Bears to get geeked up about. You know, they are 7 and 0, challenging your 1972 perfect season mark when you beat teams like The Helen Keller School for the blind, The Taunton under ten year old Pop Warner Team, The New York Firefighters all star football team, Mean Machine, The over 65 East Boston former leg breakers club, the Norwood Powder Puff team and the deaf dumb and blind all stars among other stallwarts.

When you win this game, you can all run into the streets of Miami, yelling "Just like 1986 when we beat the Bears, Hoorah, our perfect season lives on." What a pack of losers..................
