The best thing to happen to the Pats...

My first thought was yeah your right. Then I thought, screw that. Give me the toughest road so when it's all said and done there's no question. I would love to have seen them get another crack at the Broncos. I don't belive in the theory that one team just owns another team because of history. I don't think TB believes that either. Although at the end of the season Denver was all that hot.

Acually, the best thing to happen to the Pats is winning the game against the San Diego Chargers!

Look out for Denver with the rookie QB in Cutler.

i was happy not having to go against champ bailey and those speedy lb's

I'm just glad there was no game-changing phantom PI call in the endzone yesterday.

Pfft, whatever. The Broncos weren't in the playoffs because they just weren't good enough. Their season ended one week earlier than it would have had they had to face the Patriots.

i never want anything to do with denver, but late-season denver was far from frightening. i was glad to see them knocked out but would not have too concerned had they made it in.

Besides, even if they made it in they would have lost to Indy in the first round. they would have needed to climb to #5 to be a problem for the patriots.

I'll give you the Denver thing, they have owned us for a while it seems(although there was that game on Mon night three years ago when the pats came back and beat them after allowing a safety),but who didnt think that the Chargers were the toughest team in the NFL ,with LT running through every team like swiss cheese and Rivers playing well, solid defence....the wins you dont expect are the sweetest!

The only thing I recall from that Monday Night game was Danny Kanell being the Broncos qb at the time.
