Castillo's hit wasn't dirty. Neither were the others. Cincy players don't think it was dirty, Cincy coaches and fans don't think it's dirty. All the analysts say it was clean. unfortuanted but clean.
Guess what, 300 lbs guys moving forward and being thrown to the ground can't stop physics, even in slow motion, even with Tivo. In all those plays, and yes similar ones that have involved the Pats and every other team in the league, guys are trying to get to the QB and lose their balance. And yes as they go down they are still trying to make a tackle, yes at the knees if necessary. And Bruschi as certainly grabbed at a guys knee. It's either rose-colored glasses or the Sox game on the other channel if you haven't seen it numerous times.
Anyways, you all have your fun with your little slow motion debate.
DaBruinz, were you dropped on your freakin head?
No surpirse you missed all those other games considering your opinions on football. Watch a little more and learn kid before you make more of an ass out of yourself.

You are the only one who seemes to have been dropped on his head, Closing time. I said nothing about slow-motion so I have no clue wtf you are talking about. Must be that you have confused me with someone else or you are just a liar or both.

BTW, to make the pathetic claim that KVO lost his balance and that is what took him into Palmer shows you weren't even watching the play. KVO was already on the ground when he lunged at Palmer's knee. But, I don't expect you to admit that. You are too busy ballwashing Cowher and his team's dirty tactics.

And NO, Bruschi does NOT, INTENTIONALLY (please read that last word in all caps again) go for a player's knees. You are a friggin moron and a liar for saying so.

I watch at least 4 games a week. I am not some loser with no life who TIVOs ever game and sits there watching them with nothing else to do. Just because I missed a couple of games that you mentioned doesn't mean I know nothing about football. But, coming form a liar and a reject like yourself, I guess I shouldn't be surprised with the garbage you spew.

Neither do any other players, coaches or analysts. But hey, what do those guys know compared to the guys on this board.

BLAH BLAH BLAH. Cause ClosingTime says so, we aren't allowed our opinions.

STHU and go back to whatever hole you crawled out of.

KVO may not have intentionally tried to hurt Palmer, but he sure as heck went at Palmer's knee. End of Story.

As a side note, CT, how many Analysts, coaches, players said that they had never heard of the tuck rule prior to the Snow Bowl game against the Raiders? How many still claim it wasn't the correct call? Yeah, like players, analysts and coaches are ALWAYS RIGHT.

You're entitled to your opinions. Just as long as you realize they are wrong.
Is the only way you ca debates is spewing personal insults? They really hurt my feelings.

Nice post, Box. If you've the TiVo, then you've doubtless got the answers. I'm replaying this from memory, and maybe it ain't what it used to be....but we won't go there today!

I'm considering the DVD recorder option myself. This is a thoroughly wired house, and perhaps with a little persuasion, and a little charm (!) I can convince the missus that this newest gadget is a MUST!!! I used to tape all the Pats games (I have tapes from '95!), but stopped it after we moved. We have TVs in every room, and most of our multimedia is DVD based now. I'm trying to hook up an old VCR to my All-In-Wonder card on this PC, but haven't gotten it to work yet.

Durn....

Thanks again for the enlightening post!
Fervor,

I lucked out, this and Miami are the only regular season games I still have on the box! It was a real 'rymes with itch' because it was a 4:00 game and CBS lost everything up to the point the camera showed Rodney on the ground with the Trainers (blasted overrun games) - not my happiest moment to start a game.

CapitalismMart had a $100 DVD recorder at Christmas and I was drooling, but decided to wait it out until next summer and see what happens. I burned the budget going with Satellite Internet, DirectTv, and Sunday Ticket to keep up with the Pats this year - I was Pat starved in the service (Dear Lord, stationed in Joakland 8 years!) - and it was time to feed an addiction!

I appreciate the courtesy the opposing viewpoints have shown me on this thread - it's almost painful to be aligned with Closing Time - and I'd love for one of our intrepid pavement pounders to see this as a reader point of interest and brow beat their editor. Polian and Martz can worry about WRs with hangnails while allowing some really questionable play with the big uglies.

Go Pats!

Go Pats!

My wife sprung for NFL Ticket last summer, after the frustration last season with the local cable company not carrying enough Patriot games (she's huge fan!) Gawd - I love this woman!

Anyway, I'm not familiar with CapitalismMart (good sounding name, tho!), but I periodically check the local stores for potential bargains. Best Buy is always pricey, as is Circuit City, At the other extreme is Wal-Mart, and I certainly don't trust anythhing that expensive there! We used to belong to Sam's Club (not a great variety there), but we let that lapse. We also explored Costco, but decided it wasn't cost-effective to join. So I'm left to scrounge on my own, not that that's all bad!

Amen. You've got that right.

See you right here on this board Saturday nite/Sunday morn!

GO PATS!!!!!!
