If Miami pulls the upset in Indy, we're hosting the AFCC. That alone means you should play for the win. Add to that you go into the playoffs on a roll.

Going to Tennessee, playing a physical team who has something to play for... they were good prep for SD.

I think it was the right decision to play to win that game to get some more momentum heading into the post season. But you have to remember if Miami had pulled the upset. We'd instead have had to face Baltimore and Indy would have needed to upset SD.

Meh! It doesn't really matter. Pats are playing in Indy this week...It is what it is.

And Indy is who we thought they were!

It was definitely the right decision, but it is unfortunate that it meant Rodney got injured. I'm pleased with the play of Hawkins and Sanders, but it would be nice to have Rodney playing. I guess we can't have it all.

No, of course it wasn't important. I thought it wasn't before we played and history has just verified it.

We won the Titans game, and we are going to Indy to play. Had we rested the starters and lost to the Titans, we would be going to Indy to play.

The only difference I can see is that Rodney Harrison would be making the trip had we rested him.

Just be thankful we didn't lose Brady or a couple of skill players. That would really have sucked.

I will never condone sandbagging a game to rest starters for the playoffs.
The Colts tried that... didn't work well for them.

Football is largely rythym and momentum... play to win or don't put on the jersey.

i just wish rodney had not been hurt. hope he is back next week

I don't think it was important enough to sacrifice Rodney, no.
