Clayton on **** LeBeau's D against the Colts the first time:
"Steelers defensive coordinator **** LeBeau did have an impact on the Colts' offense. Even though he didn't beat the Colts, he frustrated them at times. After giving up 10 points in the first two possessions, the Steelers' defense settled into a nickel approach that used only two defensive linemen. This may be a small lineup, but it gives the Steelers more speed and more coverage options than they normally have in the 3-4. Several times during the game, Manning struggled to find open receivers down field. Occasionally, he came to the bench frustrated."
This is exactly how we played Manning in the previous years. After seeing what we did against them the first time, that was the first time I thought BB wasn't going to go all out to win when he knew we were too beat up to challenge for a bye. I think that we'll see something like this against the colts if we meet them again.
