No offense but if he is the pick i would be pissed.

They're still trying to determine his final grade, it means they like him, but aren't as sure as they'd like to be at this point in the process.

Looks like the interest is legit:

No more or less legit than any other prospect they've worked out. The list of CBs is close to 20 IIRC, with varied degrees of interest. And I'm sure not all workouts will be reported.

Looks like the interest is legit:

\\\"The 6-2, 184 pound Bradenton, Fla., native’s last workout came Tuesday at TSU’s Hale Stadium for the New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints. The Patriots have the seventh pick and are in the market for a cornerback after losing Asante Samuel to free agency.\\\"

Cason would be a better CB pick., IMO of course.

Label me P.O.'ed if we pick him at #7

The analysts have gotten one little detail wrong... We didn't "lose" Asante Samuel, we let him go!

If we felt we needed a top tier, top paid corner, we wouldn't draft one and cross our fingers, we would just keep the current known commodity.

Haven't these idiots predicted a first round CB pick, since we lost Ty Law!?

The fools who employ these guys don't seem to realize that their "expert draft analayst" just usee the following formula:

Team ABC loses premier player via free agency/injury, retirement etc.

Team ABC drafts highest rated player at that position

Team ABC drafts next highest priority need with best available player at that position with their next pick

Team XYZ... etc. etc..

Basically these guys use the same formula to complete their "jobs" as a supermarket stockboy.... and people buy it!

If we drafted a cornerback at number 7, especially an unproven DII prospect, I too would be pissed.
